Sir how long we can keep the drain ? Or tube , do we need to chnge the tube after a certain period?

@@ThatStrongSoul tube does not need to be changed. It can be kept till the drainage is significant. Usually the output comes down within 7-8 days

Output can be as high as 150 cc as well initially. Gradually it starts coming down. As mentioned, we removed when it’s less than 40 cc per day for two consecutive days

Sir , if after 2,3 days the output is getting decreased for any congestion at drain, then how to make it clear. Is suction by a 50 ml syringe helpful? I was this was done at post op ward, after doing that congestion released but the negetive pressure gradient might lost and draing decreased again.

Sir could you pls rely me . I felt one lump in right breast and performed an ultrasound which showed few tiny and small anechoic cyst. larger cyst measures 1 cm in outer upper quadrant.
