Echo that. Our local fields bordering my suburban setting have seen a regular flock of several hundred woodpigs hammering their rape for weeks on end. Please beware woodpigeons are an Amber-listed species of conservation concern so in reality we should all be encouraging them. 😂 I don’t know about you guys but I’d rather see hundreds of songbirds in the fields and hedges of our farms but nature conservation seemingly doesn’t work like that.😮

I’ve used two metal bent rods like your dads to find a plastic water pipe , they worked. Not tried for a blocked drain pipe though. Had the dreaded willow tree before , dug it out and transplanted it.

I don't know about a Manitou demo I reckon you should get John a tree shear attachment on an 8 ton excavator on demo for clearing everything that's overgrown and blocking ditches and drains, etc.

One of my friends in Poland would hitch 3 trailers together to deliver about 21 tons of grain behind a 90hp tractor. No hills and air brakes on all. His Dad years ago bought a John Deere 3130 in Germany and drove it the 800km home. He could buy parts for it a lot cheaper in Ireland from TFM the biggest John Deere dealer in Ireland.

Pick-up hitches are typical UK, rarely see them on the continent. I've driven a fair bit with a dolly trailer moving livestock (behind a 1455), once you figure it out it's actually not that hard.
