This is just my opinion.. but anyone who has never removed a beaver dam and put their own life in danger to do so shouldn't be giving advice on how to remove the dam. Not you not me not anyone.

As requested. Subscribed and hit the bell! 👍 The beavers really built that dam very quickly, which must be very frustrating. Are you not allowed to trap them and release them somewhere they can live without causing effect to the farmed lands? Apart from that - another superb dam removal. Stay Safe 👍🇬🇧

I found that during my wars with beavers (some forty years ago) that it was best to start at the downstream side as far downstream as possible and work back to the dam, then work as far upstream as far as the dam went downstream. It seemed that the dam was always the center point and they extended both directions equally.

Very nice work! Always glad to watch another Kenislovas video. I've watched so many of them I have a couple suggestions that may help you in your dam busting. 1) Gloves. I've seen you look at your gloves several times like a hole has been poked in them. They look like the style we in the US would call dish gloves. My first suggestion is get yourself a good pair of tough fabric gloves. There are some here that call them mechanics gloves. I'm not sure what they would be called in Lithuania. But they're tough, dense, fabric gloves, sometimes with rubber pads on the fingertips for grip. Then get yourself a box of nitrile gloves. These will give you the waterproof barrier the other gloves won't while not feeling like they're there. If you have thickness options, 7 mil is a good strong thickness that's not too stiff while 10 mil is closer to your current dish gloves. Just use what's comfortable. The two gloves together will keep your hands dry and protected in even the most pointy sticks. 2) A tool I've thought of many times that would be good for you is what we call a garden hoe. I'm not sure what they're called in Lithuania. But it would give you the bite and digging ability of a shovel while letting you pull and chunk out dirt, clay and grass like the rake. So instead of digging with the shovel and trying to lift the dense and wet clay, or trying to claw chunks out with the rake, you could chop into the clay with the hoe and pull out chunks as easily as the take would with the digging effectiveness of the shovel. Your last video with the dam made of reeds was a perfect spot for a hoe. I think you would find one very useful. Keep up the good work! Many of us enjoy watching.

Hello! My gloves is OK. In short period I had not proper ones. Now I bought the good ones, which lasts at least half year:) Garden hoe it's not good option. Mostly in all dams structures there are sticks and it won't go better than shovel :)

may i point out something that may help here, when your digging the channel its worth a note to dig the sides aswell as the bottom so that it makes it harder for the beavers to re plug the gap which is what they have been doing each time you remove part of dam they plug it back up & make it higher than before so the best way would be to remove as much of the dam meaning making the gap wider than you already do i know its time consuming but you do have timelapse feature on your camera which shows us the shortened version
