Yes please! Build it!! Can’t wait to see it. I was just thinking to buy this stack for my next build. Great video as always bro!

Planning out all the bits for my 5” build - may have to go with one of these. I like the idea of plug and play with the digital unit. Thanks man!

Those ESCs look totally metal. I want one of these stacks. Had quite good experience with Kakute FCs in past. Atlatls VTXes though burned few in row, but FCs and ESCs was always solid on 4S. I hope that on 6S they will still work the same.

The all metal esc is the best hands down

Looks awesome. What I'd like to see, is you putting all 8 of those motor outputs to use. Build a cinelifter! Edit: with dji preferably.. 🤘

This vs the mamba, which is easiest for beginners?

So if your not using DJI controller you will need to remove 2 wires from the Air unit to FC plug correct?

Are you gonna do anymore ESC torture tests?

I'm late to this review. I'm an EE into drones and this is a masterpiece FC and ESC board. Going in my next build. Also - subbed - excellent video and thanks.

Im also an EE. I have this fc and 65a esc in 3 quads now. It's the best stack I have ever used

Thanks. Pretty stoked when I saw it. Gettin' the 65A full stack on the way, any day now. Should be a sweetheart, too. I'll let you know.

I just had 4 of the same ESC's & 4 Matex 30x30 H7 FC's show up in the mail yesterday! Already got one into my main 7" & I can't complain 😅 Now the question is how long is it going to last? From the component choice & build quality of both hoards I'm confident its going to be a good long while 👍🏼

Hi DM: Great Vid just wish i saw it before getting the KAKUTE F7 HDV, would you know if it's possible to use a analog Camera on this board by using the wires from the DJI plugin or do I just wait to purchase a DJI unit, Thanks.
@robert_g_fbg3 жыл бұрын
He pointed out the analog in & out solder pads. This H7 handles one analog cam. The Matek and Luminier H7s handle dual analog cams.

WOW! ; ) Why did it take me so long to find you? ; ) As many of us know H7 FC's have MORE than enough RAM to run FULL Ardupilot/iNAV/Betaflight etc. If I want to run: H7 (full Ardupilot): WITH DUAL/TWO HD air units and a digital air speed sensor in VTOL Wings, can you/anyone recommend a list of H7's FC's that can manage that?

Hum.. the ESC looks a little sketchy with another board soldered on it, with the heat flex and a few crashes I would be worried..
@ІҬҎЅ3 жыл бұрын
The other board u speak of is the logic board and isolates the power delivery board and is a good thing to see. The V1 version of this esc had some issues but this is v3 or v4 I think and this esc is a monster. I have 2 of these escs and just purchased the H7 FC for a cinelifter i'am building. I also have this esc in a 5.5" cruiser and no issues. I wish it wasn't so expensive but if you look at the components its hard to scoff at.
@bungle63342 жыл бұрын
I feel like I'm missing something... Arducopter requires over 1mb, yet H7s are super rare compared to F7, especially F722s. Which only have 1/2MB which isn't even enough to run betaflight, correct? Why are F722s the most common in a landslide? What am I missing? I am building my first Quad, and I would like a MCU that is both futureproof and large enough to run any firmware. Being an engineer, ultimately, I want to develop a drone with new capabilities, such as the ability to self charge, automated patrolling, flir, etc -- so the extra I/O is also desired. Although expensive, H7 seems to be the way to go?
