I am sure that is a true statement. Just like "a broken watch is right twice a day". Also true. The problem is that anyone's BEST can beat anyone else's BEST in the Playoffs. None of us is our BEST every single game. We have off nights. The playoffs is the Best of 7. So, who will have the most BESTS with the least amount of time NOT at our BEST over 7 Games. Thats the question. Time will tell.

Yes that's 100% true - but like it or not, the two best players in the world play on the same team. McDavid and Draisaitl. And if they, and their teammates , are playing their best, it doesn't matter who the opposition is, or how they are playing, the Oilers will win that game. We have said it all year, we don't need Bobrovsky, Sheshterkin, Swayman, or any other goalie to 'steal' a win for us. All the other teams need that goaltending - we beat Vcr and they out-goalied us (ask any Canuck fan) - as an example, and we weren't even at our best until really game 6 and most of game 7. But yes, if we don't play our best of course we are likely to lose. We did play like absolute garbage in game 5 against VCR, and they played their best game of the playoffs easy, and we lost - by a goal scored in the last 36 seconds of the game. I knew then the series was over and posted it many times much to the chagrin of Canuck fans.

To me, Florida is the one to watch out for. They want redemption from last year's sad ending to their amazing run. The Bruins had 135 points last year, up 3 games to 1, and Florida beat them.
