I hate Drake a lot, my hater energy is strong in this one lmaooo.disclaimer because abusers and bullies make me the angriest P.S. I know the sound isn’t mixed, I didn’t use a microphone - I just jumped on and started talking, I didn’t have my normal set up. Turn up the volume and give me a break 😂 Update: I made this video the night not like us dropped - so there are things that were considered true then that were disproven now or things I learned: - the photoshopped single cover - the George Zimmerman line - the body bag rapper was a predator himself I was talking off the cuff and this is an opinion piece. If you want more informed videos I have plenty!

Drake's latest track dissing Kendrick for being touched as a kid and simultaneously denying his own ped allegations was not it, good lord. His fanbase is so braindead they think he's killing it but all of these tracks are going to age SO poorly and be presented as him outing himself down the line. He says that's not him but he makes fun of someone that has suffered from SA in the same breath. He doesn't demonize it or despise it, he thinks it's funny because he has a lot of experience with perpetrating it. If you listened to Mr Morale and thought it was "boring" that's such a huge red flag for me.

Damn right this is gonna be it. I know people would like to point to Chris Brown's treatment to Rihanna and Karrueche as a reason to hate him but I think Drake was SOOOOO MUCH WORSE. People have speculated that part of the reason Breezy had beef with Drake was due to Rihanna. Fast Forward, Drake has never been able to get over Rihanna and can't stop bringing her up now that she's with A$AP Rocky. In Show of Hands, ASAP Rocky said that Adonis's mom slept together prior to meeting Drake. But the one that makes me despise Drake the most is how he did Tunechi dirty. He slept with Tunechis girl the day before he got with her.

22:48 As a folk musician, the conversation around the appropriation of hip-hop into whiteness has been fascinating to watch, because it's almost exactly what happened to the banjo. The banjo originated in the Caribbean islands among enslaved Africans and, for the majority of its history, was considered to be an exclusively African instrument. White folks looked down on it and all that. That only changed when white people started doing minstrel shows in the 1800s. So the banjo has been associated with white people for only 200 years, yet nobody questions that in any sort of big way - *that's* how completely it was absorbed into the dominant (white) culture.

I really hate this idea that artists are entitled to their jobs. Deplatforming someone is not the end of their life.. Like at all.. Sorry you have to work a real job like a normal person. Look, I love art, and I love a lot of artists, but we have to stop pretending that becoming a successful artist puts you on this pedestal where you're not really seen as a person anymore and they can't be held accountable. Idk why people seem to think that if you're deplatformed, your life is over.. When You're just like everybody else now

I don't ever elevate someone I enjoy like that. I don't ever forget that they're just people and as flawed and crazy as anyone else. And if I find out someone I enjoy is secretly a terrible person, I'm permanently done with their art. I hate people who pretend these decisions are the end of the world, or hateful or harmful to an artist. If they harmed someone else, I'm not going to feel bad about causing them harm and I'm never going to care more for a terrible person than I do their victim(s). This stuff really isn't that complicated. If others don't have the principles to do similar, that's fine. But they should own that IMO. Just straight up say "listening to music I can dance to is more important to me than the harm this person caused." They should really quit trying to dress that up in grand statements and just be honest.

Fellow Sagittarius father here. I appreciate the honestly and realness in this video. I am tired of living in a culture where the vast majority just accepts "open secrets" from an artist if they happen to like their music, or tied their identity around that artist. No one should ignore patterns. And NO ONE should be okay with their impressionable, underage teen daughter to having a personal/private relationship of ANY sort, for any reason ever. Grooming is nothing at all to take lightly, and at best that is what Drake is doing. He is a very rich and influential guy who finds underage girls who are fans or look up to him. The guy is a professional actor and has made a career changing personas and acting roles depending on who is around you. He is a chameleon. Those are the most dangerous and manipulative. I don't know. I could ramble on forever. It saddens me to see so many people put their neck out to run defense, deflect or belittle these issues. But I am glad there are people with an audience like yourself, who can articulate and speak out against this creepy, predatory behavior. I am glad I found this channel and look forward to watching more of your content. Keep speaking your truths.

As a kid I was a fan of R. Kelly I was 7 in 2003 when Ignition Remix was everywhere. Obviously as a kid at the time I had no idea about the allegations and how credible they were. But seeing that there were adults that were aware of it but let it slide really disturbed me. When these allegations first came out about Drake alongside footage of him acting like this in public I had this feeling like now I'm the adult like the adults around me were when R Kelly's allegations came out. As someone who was born and raised in Houston, I HATE HOW HE CLAIMS MY CITY. As much as he likes to name drop it, I feel like A$AP Rocky has shown more praise to Houston and put subtle touches on his projects. While NY wasn't vibing with his southern hip hop sound at first, he kept it trill and paved his path into the culture. From collabs with Maxo Kream and Paul Wall to making some chopped and screwed type beats like Purple Swag and Peso, he's easily in my top 5. Not sure if people noticed it but there was another thing that made me respect him and Future more. At the end of Show of Hands, there is a dialogue that plays before Streets Made Me a King. The person speaking in is the H-TOWN LEGEND himself DJ Screw. Need i say more? As a Latino, i Also see his collabs with Bad Bunny as a way to get easy brownie points from latinos. Before both of them released Mia, Bad Bunny and J Balvin scored a massive W when they teamed up with Cardi B to release I Like It. Speaking of which, Cardi B has way more Latin collabs on her resume. With icons like Ozuna, El Alfa, Myke Towers, Arcangel and Anuel AA, she's always down to drop some latin heat.

He started out as a child actor on Canadian TV. And he spent several years working on Degrassi (which might've been broadcast on PBS here). This guy can't be honest about his nationality, even though he played a beloved character on a very popular show. If he's lying about something as innocuous as being Canadian, then I'm extra inclined to believe he's been inappropriate with minors. At this point do we even need evidence? For a crime that leaves notoriously little evidence? He's not on trial for it. TLDR: the man lies about being Canadian, why should I believe his response to the other claims?

"i miss when villains where really villains for real" hits hard. idk maybe im speaking out of my perception bubble, but i feel like people in the public eye that commit atrocities, face less and less public backlash. like we have accepted that certain people just do certain things, say it is what it is and are bothered less and less. 20 years ago it felt way graver when any scandal hit the news. nowadays due to the internet exposing how common people doing fcked up shit really is, it kinda gets normalized. people miss acknowledging the gravity of the situations. tho thats always ben a problem in general with humans. idk

I admittedly have work to do to in the area of cutting off artists (not drake, but some other artists). I get so attached to certain music or memories tied to it, and I need to fix that. You're right about how that habit can pop up in other areas of life, how connected it all is. I will not die without certain music lol I need to remind myself that There's *more than plenty* of music to switch to after learning of horrible doings by an artist. "You might as well stop listening to all music cause the artist COULD be messed up" is not an excuse to keep listening to known predators and abusers. It's a bs argument I've heard (and thought a couple times before) about artists and businesses and only stands to discredit boycotting efforts. It's avoidance and not helpful to the liberation of people.

Agreed. I think pimps are too scared to become drug dealers, so they use their proximity to patriarchy to exploit others. The only reason why some sex workers even use pimps is because of safety. Where they think they’re nice and better than the dangerous men outside, but are equally if not more dangerous because they believe they’re doing something positive.

Amen to being autistic and being so good at cutting off harmful people after finding out they’ve done harm to anyone. But to me? It gets a bit more grey area. If people listened to black women and sex workers it would be harder to take advantage/abuse/isolate/otherize them, which sure makes me wonder about all the effort and monies and horrible slanderous lies directed against "wokeness" as a concept. Like, a bunch of people with all the money suddenly start foaming at the mouth because people are aware of things. Or thinking critically. Making people aware that you exist and your life matters and it sure would be nice if the police could perhaps be account- Also what happened with the me too movement? It was amazing how much pushback there was but how low down and sneaky they were getting the message out, I didnt notice at the time but I DID notice that they weren't arresting anyone else for abusive behavior and also yeah people who literally brag about the abuse aren't punished they're actually given lots of money and get to be a senator or even the president! It really does scare the hell outta me just how many billionaires we have spending their billions to ensure that the abuse not only continues but gets worse, especially since they really seem to want people to be ignorant, desperate, exhausted and separated from your children/family. Supposedly they want these things because it will benefit people. It does look like it will be great for predators, which means ....They will somehow blame the abused againand use it as an excuse to "get tough on crime" or "finally install a thing in your brain because protect the children or w/e and then theres a warzone/school shooting/genocide we are told is totally the only way, the way Jesus would want, because as a christian nation we would never do violence, too busy feeding the hungry and healing the sick and uh... Making homelessness illegal b ut you cant stay in any of those millions of houses cause the rich pedophiles who run things will make more money this way, they designed it after all. It's horrifying and Im a privileged (white, super poor but I am happier without money so) guy, I don't even know how to approach your perspective. So thank you for talking about it, you're an excellent communicator. I think the only way to stop the various cycles of abuse is by being as open about it as possible. I honestly can't think of a compliment worthy/accurate enough, I really appreciate what you've done. It really is gross how they glorify pimps. too many words from me, good day o/
