As he stated he just wants to make beautiful music. Most of the people hating on Drake are the very same ones who followed him throughout his career on Degassi and download his music. It's not about being a thug or a lover in this entertainment industry. It's about making something us fans can identify with for the moment that we are actually listening

There are so many reasons that I respect Drake and love him as an artist.. Firstly, he has never claimed to be hard or that he grew up in a rough neighborhood like most rappers. He is being himself. He is so creative and versatile to me. He answers truthfully and honestly in his interviews and seems so genuine and sweet. Besides, he has enough fans and is making enough money that he doesn't even give a fuck what all of you say about him.

LOL okay buddy. Keep listening to Drake if that's what you like, but in my opinion he's a cornball, corny ass, sensitive, lyric biting, disgrace to the game. But that's just my opinion.

LOL - I can't help it, he pisses me off.
@crispinfrancis111 жыл бұрын
He pisses me off cos kids think he's some super intelligent dope rhymer, when he bites rhymes, his rapping voice is whack, and he just wants to be on top without having to deal with the competition that's why he got so upset when Kendrick dropped Control.

@msc37411 жыл бұрын
Drake is one of the nicest rappers out and his music is art. Hip-hop was all about material bull shit and violence for awhile, and it was dying. It was previously successful but no longer. That's why guys like 50 aren't selling records. Drake's music makes you think and it makes you feel. Some people say he is corny and talk shit but he's the hottest rapper in the game for a reason. I still think the best rapper breathing is Jay-Z but I truly believe the future of hip-hop is Drake and J.Cole.

They describe Drake as a 'soft' guy because of his honesty but believe fake rappers who talk lies about something that they have never done as Drake says best ' could load every gun with bullets that fire backwards You probably wouldn't lose a single rapper' it takes guts & confidence for a man to express their feelings = Hard & cold to me. Everything he writes is based on facts whether his feelings or his game. others rapper claim money, drugs, killing people, downgrading women are based on fiction all lies. but then people love lies but never appreciate the truth smh
@sirm.a.r.s46409 жыл бұрын
I don't have a problem with truth drake just sucks as a rapper. Public enemy don't claim those things, common, earl sweatshirt, q tip, little brother, von pea, Tanya morgan so many rappers express their feelings they are just better at doing it through lyrics.

So well put! Thats exactly how I feel when I see comments like that. Like where is this fuckin rapper handbook that says you have to grow up on the streets, or have been locked up and shit like that. Why can't we just accept the fact that there are hardcore rappers that have been through it all, and Classy, well spoken rappers like Drake. How can people deny that Drake has talent when there is rappers like fuckin A$AP Rocky in the world.

@Ejwoods08 those songs are normally done with lil wayne or in songs that were meant to dance to when no one is really listening because they're too drunk..but in most of his other songs he really puts women in an uplifting image atleast better then most mainstream rappers lately and his songs normally deal with him handling pressure, how drugs and alcohol just make things worse, friends, family, women he onced loved and how they've moved on, life, shit that actually matters to him.
