You guys do great work with regards to how you talk about music! One feedback i have for improvement is, I've noticed sometimes you talk over each other and almost compete to have the say. An example is 17:23, where you both make the same statement to direct the flow of conversation. It might just be a coincidence or me reading too deeply, but i've noticed a few instances in other videos where each one is trying to control the conversation by making similar statements or just how you put questions to each other e.g "I want to get your view on this.." or "I have a question for you.." etc. I think it would be more enjoyable and easy going if you both give each other space to express yourselves and not necessarily worry about who is 'in charge'. Just a minor observation as a frequent consumer of your content. Other than that, you guys work great together and are very knowledgeable! Thanks for the good work.

Michael Jackson sons name is actually Prince as well so there's another layer. You also skipped over the "Drizzy Chip n Dale, probably buy your b* chanel" lyric. Chip N Dale would always beat Pluto in the show so that's another jab at Future which then connects to the "Shit'd probably be different if your BM start to kiss & tell" which is about Futures bm Ciara who has a song called Kiss & Tell - not A$AP & Rihanna although, "if the shoe fits"

Facts this facts that. All Drake can say is "I made more numbers, I'm commercially more successful than you" which is the least important dimension of what makes a good rapper.

I also picked up on something else, on the hook “Drop and give me 50” you guys said that he was talking about Tog Dawg necessarily close to the hook and it think it also references the incident with Top Dawg KFC robbery against his father, the same story told on DUCKWORTH. So that’s a little cool Easter egg I thought of there.

Recency bias. Kendrick put out Like That and it shook the game. In response, Drake waited weeks, then slowly put out low fi unmastered “leaks” to see if everyone liked it before committing to it and saying its official and releasing a completely mastered version. Even with Drake throwing some good shots, Like That hits so much harder. If you think Drake is “in the lead”, you’re delusional, probably the same people that say Views is a classic…

Yeah it’s 1-1 rn but Kendrick not holding back on the reply. He was waiting for this moment This track reminds me a lot pf Takeover, where the main subject matter was talking about Nas’ record contract and replying to all the other rappers who threw shot at Jay. For this Drack, it’s Drake talking about Kendrick’s TDE deal and replying back to all of the other rappers
