It’s incredible watching geniuses work like this. You can hear the tough decisions that were made. The problems of liking something one way but ultimately going in a different direction. And in the end, the right decisions were made. Even though I like some of this rough stuff the way it was, it was ultimately given to us the right way. Drake and his team are truly the highest tier.

I was in jail when nothing was the same dropped. everyone in my y.o. dorm was bumping it. it was a good time when things weren't violent in the dorms. niggas getting together and singing the album bar for bar before count time. It felt like drake made the album for all of us while we were all going through a rough time.

the growth has been crazy . at that point when had dropped this he was already a giant in music. i remember him releasing this body of work shortly after the same summer he had cleared the most #1s in HipHop … around that time he had also given the Migos the first taste of a larger than life record with the Versace remix .
