It’s really bothering me, too. It’s the OG rappers and commentators who are clearly trying to scapegoat Kendrick Lamar and bring him down. I detect a lot of jealousy and envy all around K-Dot. It’s concerning. Drake started this whole thing with “Push Ups” when he defaced and degraded Whitney and first accused Kendrick of beating on her. Kendrick warned him TWICE-on “Euphoria” and again on “6:16” but Drake went in on Whitney, Dave Free and leveled allegations at Kendrick on “Family Matters”. That’s what really happened, and it’s pisses me off that people are trying to rewrite history. I hate this Hip-Hop era. Drake doesn’t deserve to be anywhere near the Top 20! Why? His ass is not of the culture. He is simply a fan of it. Also, he doesn’t write his own raps. He uses Ghostwriters! People are still giving Drake so much damn shine that he doesn’t deserve!

Post Pusha-T beef his albums don't hit the same. That beef derailed his whole Scorpion album campaign but he was still able to put up numbers. His following albums weren't that great either, especially Certified Lover Boy. There was so much hype leading into that album only for it to be a huge letdown.
