AWESOME job on the cover Drake, it gave me cold chills. Many artist' over the years male and female have covered this song, Ray Price was the first to do the song in 1963, Jim Reeves did it in 1964 and Eddy Arnold followed in 1965, Elvis released his recording of it January 1, 1972, Marty Robbins released the cover in 1978. I hear a combination of Jim Reeves, Elvis Presley and Marty Robbins in your cover maybe just a tiny bit of Eddy Arnold, but in all you brought yourself into the song, putting your own shine on it and making it a part of you.
