Not a huge Drake fan but can't lie really liked the album nearly all the beats were fire and Drakes delivers some harddd bars and some nice flows in them, even the singing tracks like the summer over interlude were still dope for me.

Fire & Desire was a sleeper to me til i actually just listened one day. It really is a dope ass song if you break it down. How it was arranged was crazy. It became my favorite song. Feel No Way has a crazy vibe to it too. Thats just it with me, Drake makes "vibe" music. Its like you have to be in a certain type of setting to really appreciate each song.

Fire and Desire is one of my favs but it got the death spot on the album haha. But like you said, if you trim off some of the songs you don't like, it's easier to enjoy the whole project. I'm a huge Drake fan, honestly I feel like this is a pop album that's going to give him a lot of success. At least he gave us Weston Road Flows, which is my shit lol

tbh I have mixed feelings about views and Ima huge Drake fan. I think he could have rapped more, but I love the album production wise. Grammy's should have been left off and put on WATTBA. But I did like some of the rnb songs. But I'll listen to it more. And I kinda wanted more song like views on there

After first play through, I was disappointed. I didn't think it was trash, but I just wasn't wowed. I woke up the next morning, played it while doing work at school, and it just hit me. I think this is his best produced album. He uses different flows opposed to his previous projects and I felt he handled subject matter a little more consistently. I noticed on NWTS he was jumpy on topic and that he always struggled with bringing stories to the next level. In comparison to Joe Budden when talking about relationships on tracks, drake never was able to bring out those powerful emotions like Joe is able to. I personally feel he stepped it up from that aspect. There were a couple tracks that could have been taken out I agree. Not that I necessarily hated any of the songs, but I prefer shorter projects. Arguably his best album though, but of course the album is still brand new and needs to breath. Dope review man.

To be honest IYRTITL kinda screwed him over. It was a complete change of style, he played it off as a mixtape, and people really embraced it. He took an extra year to release this and hyped it up too much. It wasn't bad but I know he's capable of better and that's what's disappointing. Love your channel - keep it up!

So when it came to Views he had to make a PERFECT album to meet everyone's expectations. If he hadn't released IYRTITL the expectations for Views likely would have been lower as IYRTITL was received so well.

Wanted more rap from him but when he had some dope ass bars. The singing wasn't my thing but that's just me. He teased trying some new flows but found nothing groundbreaking. The instrumentals were simple but dope. Overall, pretty dope record. The singing slowed it down in my opinion and found nothing groundbreaking. But the bars...the bars went hard.

i enjoyed the first part but the second half of the disc was really disappointing (expect views, one of my fav tracks off of this album tbh). it's an alright project but it was a bit disappointing, can't lie. he needs to stop creating albums this big, 20 tracks is way too much and drake lost focus along the way. btw, you should check out and review dvsn's album called sept 5th, they dropped it like 2 weeks ago and if you love 90's r&b, you're gon be impressed by it. just listen to their track called "with me" or even "hallucinations".
