When Drake started to rap over Kanye’s beats and catching some of Kanye Flow but with his own style, it caught the attention of Kanye on which he was impressed by it! Later on when they started to meet up, They started to work on their projects together, Kanye mentored Drake around this time on which Kanye later on pushed Drake to fly on his own, but Drake kept on depending on Kanye. By the time Drake was starting to get more popular, and Kanye saw that Drake was blowing and overpassing him, Kanye saw potential on Drake as a worthy opponent, not an opponent bad terms, but a friendly rivalry. When Drake caught wind that Kanye wasn’t putting him on a project where Drake presumably was inside, Drake was all over his feels and decided to do his own thing by collaborating with Lil Wayne, and kanye heard these rumors and did the same with Jay Z. And this could’ve just went back-and-forth in a friendly way, but Drake took it too far by letting his emotions take action! And when Kanye started to do his own thing, and Drake was doing his own thing, he constantly tried to reach for Kanye for his projects, where Kanye couldn’t do because he was working on his own thing. At this point, Drake is capable enough to work for himself, and pretty much use the knowledge that Kanye gave to him to pursue his music career, but Drake was just being a big crybaby about it because Kanye wouldn’t help him, this is where I give my reasoning with the producer/DJ at the beginning. This situation could’ve ended all if Drake wouldn’t have acted childishly towards Kanye for dating his ex! If Drake didn’t knew that Amber was Kanye’s ex it would’ve been a different story , because this is the same with all of us! If we end up dating a guy/girl that your friend dated before, and you didn’t knew about it, it would’ve went differently, no hurt feels, It was unknown. But Drake knew about it and went far to do something. That is not cool! Presumably, settled it on their side and didn’t announce it for the public, and the magazines make an unecessary statements to start unnecessary beef, this is where I give reasoning to both Drake and Kanye for addressing this! Coming back to the Studio session where Drake was nagging about Kanye not helping him and not giving his knowledge, all this is Drake’s fault for letting his ego take over because Kanye wouldn’t want to work with him anymore or at the moment! And this is where Drake adopted this habit of signing artists, producers, and composers! And they would all do the work for Drake while he enjoys his lavish lifestyle, while Kanye would work with his team to make his music and other artists as well, despite not being not of a good record label CEO, let’s all admit that, at least he acknowledges his mistake and his flaw! But in the other hand, Drake does not do anything about it, and takes advantage of this position of CEO for his own image, artists on his label, like PARTYNEXTDOOR, he wrote a vast majority of drakes lyrics on his peak OVO era, and PARTYNEXTDOOR debuted on his EP that was self named. On which these last few times we rarely hear from PARTYNEXTDOOR and other artists under OVO but that’s a whole different story All of this could’ve been avoided if Drake wasn’t all over his feelings !
