Y'all understand 1v1s back then vs now aren't even anywhere the same meta. The fact that scrub can go toe to toe for the most part with this very talented stranger with Zen like style clears and flip resets is a testament to scrubs skills and consistent adaptation to the game. Not to mention he probably hasn't been grinding 1s like Drali. ggs

i started doing scrubs backward/diagonal kickoffs like 6 months ago when i saw him doing it, and at least in GC1, it hard wins 80% of kickoffs. I went from losing most kickoffs to winning most in a few hours of practice. Curious to see if there are any hard counters for it.

I might be crazy but Scrub’s kickoff looks extremely similar to PaLerider, the top 100 1s merc player. I think he does a similar kickoff style.
