If he is abusive then good riddance. A dad is supposed to be an example to his son or daughter. The daughter will know first hand what betrayal looks feels and sounds like, you've taught her that a man is not to be trusted because if she can not trust the most important man in her life how does she trust others ? Then without even a sorry expect you to fall in line and accept. She will hate you, you were her daddy and you hurt her mommy and her. I hated my father for what he put my poor mum through and would never forgive him. He destroyed our family and a family that was happy for some two bit tart who fluttered her eyes lashes at him. Who not one year later took of with another man. He came to the house expecting us all to be delirious with happiness that he wanted to come home. No one wanted anything to do with him and a year later mom met my stepdad and he is phenomenal. My dad on the other hand has missed out on everything we've done all our achievements and becoming parents ourselves my stepdad absolutely dotes on my mom and my children and he is grandad to them, Forgiving a man who was your world who betrayed the family home and made us into what we are now is never coming and I made peace with that.

I like the young girls acting. I felt she did a really great job depicting a child abandoned by their father who destroyed her family and sense of security. Well done! I can't believe this guy continues to insert himself into their lives while they are simply trying their best to get on with theirs. He even has the nerve to say, "I feel like I've lost something" and he's feeling empty inside. Seriously? She really gives it to him when he tries to absolve his guilty by giving her money then mentioning that he and his mistress want her to have it. I had a divorce, and her words so hit home for me about the disgust I felt for a man who had a mistress then returned to my bed for sex, so I completely understand both her feelings and her words.

let me say, that woman does not let grass grow under her feet. she signed the papers, went to civil affairs and got her belongings moved out in the quickest i have ever seen . i felt really bad for the daughter. the dad clearly thought that his betraying his wife was just between him and her and wouldn't impact his relationship with the daughter. but he forgot that she is losing her childhood innocence, her family and her home. Why wouldn't she be so mad at him?

I hate it when the writers have the wronged wife act as if it’s noble to turn down compensation. There isn’t anything noble about hurting one’s children by helping the cheating ex shortchange the children. I think the writers are trying to show the wives are not greedy like the young mistresses. It isn’t a fair comparison though as a wife earns, a mistress steals. A divorced mother should put her pride aside to prioritize the well being of her children by getting everything she can to their benefit. That isn’t greed, that is a mother’s job.

É a maneira de cortar completamente os laços com ele, meu filho abriu mão da pensão para cortar os laços com o Pai, sentia que tinha que ser atencioso devido a ajuda mensal, quando foram no fórum para cessar o benefício, ele nunca mais falou com o Pai, bloqueou o contato, isso já tem 7 anos, fica bravo quando comento qualquer coisa relacionada ao Pai.
