I love that you are willing to say when a song doesn't work for you, because you always acknowledge the talent of the performers, even if you disagree with the arrangement choices. I love a lot of PMJ, but there are a lot that just don't appeal to me, so I know where you're coming from in that. People who get bent out of shape if someone doesn't love everything they love put the "fanatic" back in "fan", lol. You keep doing you, and don't let the nasty comments bring you down.

For me personally, I can not get enough of Morgan James. I discovered her about 4 years ago and I am not exaggerating when I say that I listened to her 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒅𝒂𝒚 for the first two years. I drive a forklift for a living and I'd just put my earbuds on and play her for most of the 8 hours of work. And more of Morgan driving on the way home or to work. Absolutely an outstanding vocalist that continues to give me frisson to this day - even while watching this video (which I've watched/listened to countless times) I got the shivers.

Morgan James is a force, her voice is powerful. I love PMJ because you just don't know where they will go with a song, but I don't expect to love each one. You shouldn't have to apologize for feeling the same. I really like their version Of Maps with Morgane, because I am not crazy about the original. Your reactions rock.

I play music and I do know what I like and what appeals to my ears. I started out to not be sold on PMJ. Pop music and all that. I finally watched Morgan and Hailey and Ariana perform All About That Bass. So I watched more. Dammit this cowboy guy hooked. The vocalists are all top notch but the arrangements by Scott Bradlee (on piano) really set these apart from the originals, which I may or may not have liked. I wish my mom was alive to hear these. She'd love them. I guess a little bit of her rubbed off on me after all. So damn much talent here. Check out Ariana Savales (actor Telly Savales' little girl) cover Bad Romance with the help of an oh my goodness how talented tap dancer. Both ladies are easy on the eyes and ears. Morgan covers the Aerosmith hit Dream On. You'll have to take a few minutes to recover after that one. Alright. I admit. I'm a PMJ fan boy. There. I said it. She took me to church as well!

I will echo some of your other comments - I adore PMJ (have been to one of their concerts - which was amazing) and there are songs that they have covered which are amazing (like this one) but there are definitely others where I've thought, that was nice or even nope - not for me; doesn't stop me watching every new one they put up! I'm writing this at the 2:00 mark. This is the first video I've watched on your channel, but "reaction videos" are my new thing. Couldn't agree with you more (so far). I'm a HUGE PMJ fan. Seen them live three times so far, and will be at their first post-covid show in Detroit in October... but... sometimes it seems they force a song, just to make that "one video a week" goal they had for a while. I also listen to music of all genres. I like some... I hate some... but I admit that just because I don't like something, doesn't mean it doesn't have value. It is HOLY. The word holy (in Hebrew) means "set apart" and I feel this song is set apart from any other rendition and maybe belongs on a separate list of just HOLY songs! I love her AND Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox. What he has done brings all types of exceptional talent from musicians, dancers, "other eras" in so many ganres, but back to Morgan @ 3:30 blows me away everytime. I am so pleased you hear what I hear which is "a perfect mouthpiece" AMEN!

I have been having trouble with some KZbinr and podcaster reviewers lately. For these of which I am writing, if they don't like something, they tend to go out of their way to find little things they don't like and tend to give their opinion as if it were objective fact. If someone calls them on it, they get overly defensive. You don't seem to do that. For your reactions and reviews, you seem to be careful to make sure it's known that this is just what you think. Others can like it, but it just isn't for you. I respect the hell out of that. If I had a hat, I would don it so I could doff it to you.

I like Morgan I think she has an amazing voice, but for me, I didn't like her version of this song. That is just my opinion. I like your reactions, you are truthful about how feel and you have every right to your opinion. It is unrealistic to expect everyone to like a song of the singer just because you do. I love the blues and I think Beth Hart is amazing and the best singer in the world. Now how silly would it be of me to think my opinion is the only one that counts, pretty silly. That is why there are so many different styles of music and singers, so we all have something to love.
