I don't see this as a competition with the O'Jays as much as an honoring of their legacy and keeping the music fresh. Such a happy video. Love these guys! I also really like the way you enjoy them. Stay safe and happy.

How can you go wrong with that much fun, a dancing dog, & Tim's "Tiggle" (3:36)!!! 😉😄 Love this arrangement! As I've said before, HF arranges their stuff enough that I never need to compare; I love both, the original & HF's!! ❤️ Thx for doing this one! Btw: how about Adams move in the Soul Train lane at 1:18!

It just fills every soul that hears it. Humans have a primal need to move through music. This song and just like the original did launches that enjoyable childlike feeling. Enjoyed your reactions and commentary.

I always love the original by the O’Jays because it’s such a positive and upbeat message. Of course, it had a cool and groovy dance beat, too! 😎 Their version will always hold a special place in my heart and memory! I was so excited when Home Free did this cover and included their fans by asking for dance submissions (supposedly dancing to any of their upbeat songs)! They’re all about unity, love, and acceptance and this song just made me happy! You’re right about Adam! The man has some dance moves! He’s been holding back! 😂 I know why you paused it a couple of other times. You had to go back and hear those low bass notes! One can never get enough of that super, low bass! Great reaction!!

DramaSydE SydEFrYE does have a "ring" to it, LOL ............ I do remember the original, it stands out for some reason --- maybe, just maybe; because if the wind blew just right, our one AM radio station would come in pretty decent! :) What they've done here, recreating the sound --- and it has depth ... they did the song and The O'Jays justice!

Syde Fry! Love it! Home Free has several classics that they "modernizied" and I like. I still like the originals also, but that Home Free touch just adds to the song and brings it up to today. If the original artists were still with us, I'd like to think they might have done something like this to the song to keep it fresh. I love how they asked for the home videos from the Fries and added them to the video for this. It just adds to the fun. Thanks! ^_^

Probably never see this BUT your comment about Adam’s dance moves is right on target. Somewhere on the internet is a video of the end of his wedding - and the whole wedding party dancing out of the hall….and Adam’s role is stellar - I suspect he choreographed the whole thing. Found the link for you - IT’S EPIC!!!! kzbin.info/www/bejne/lZaTnGePpMeAeJY

Thank you very much for the Home Free reactions, I always love to see how much you enjoy them, and the knowledge and experience of music that you bring. The original was a great song, and this adds rather than takes away from that, it seems to me - good songs have the strength to work in different versions interpreted in the styles of different eras. You know, I must have watched this video a few dozen times, and I've never seen that dance move of Adam's before, too busy watching the others - thank you for pointing it out. :-)

Just for something different from Home Free, you might check out their rendition of “Bring Him Home” from Les Miserables with Austin singing the lead. They used to do this to give Adam a break after his beat box solo. Austin is trained in classical and musical theater and worked hard to lose his southern Georgia accent. All that changed when he joined Home Free! You will be pleasantly surprise! kzbin.info/www/bejne/fHLEo6V7n5miqJo
