In any sport, regardless of who win or lose, there has to be a show of sportsmanship. Players are aware of that and are required to be civil at all times. Snooker is a sport watched by millions around the world and the integrity of the players must be of the highest standards as their character reflects the country they represent. A customary handshake was all that was needed, but sad to say Mr Higgins, uncharacteristically made no attempt to offer his hand. Zhao, tactfully avoided extending his hand in order not to ambarrass him further. I love Shawn Murphy. He should receive an award of some kind from the Snooker Council for his outstanding gesture for each and every one of his victors, never shirking from his responsibility to honour the sport. Shawn, you are a true ambassador of the sport and a shining example for all sportsman.

I'm Brazilian, and I want to know if the referee is under no obligation to at least give a nod to the winner. I thought the referee's attitude was absurd in the Xintong vs Higgins game, who didn't even look at the boy. Except our Ronnie O Sullivan, Robertson and others. This is visible precocious, worthy of severe punishment!!

He was just distracted, believe me. Snooker referees and players are somehow familiar and see each other quite often, unlike most sports.

Dear Cesar. As this fact is extremely important to me, I insist on the referee's lack of politeness in the Zhao vs Higgins game.
