I had my head shaved when I was 22. I wasn't balding at all. It was a choice. A very good one, too. I have Bern bald by choice since. 34 years as a bald dude and counting......all the best to you, young man.

You don't have to change it if you don't want to you know. There's finasteride and micro needling as well as minoxidil. Baldness is optional. It's worked for me. I went from having the drain be clogged with hair every time I'd shower to having barely any hairs fall out at all.

I've been shaving my head for 10 years, and the approach done here is the best. When I started shaving my head, my barber started with a very close buzz cut, and then used the razor. After that he applied the foil, and my head felt very smooth. In some other times, when he forgot to charge the foil, he'd give me another round with the straight razor against the grain, and it would feel even smoother. Currently, I shave my head myself. It's very fun, very clean, and my wife says it's manly. If you're going bold, I really recommend you go for it.

I'm 25 years old and my hairline is already receding. At first it is hard to accept but later on you'll get used to it. For me it doesn't matter anymore if you're balding. The important thing is you have a healthy body and free from any illness. Life is too short to worry too much on baldness!

Honestly, I get compliments from both men and lady’s. I feel like I’ve had more success with the bald look. Some may call it a power move. I'm 30, and I started losing my hairline pretty young, somewhere between 18-21. I started wearing a hat, ALL the time. Trying to hide it. I just shaved my head completely for the first time earlier this year. And I've never felt better about myself. I look soo much better shaved, than with the cul-de-sac, Dr. Phil look. It's a hassle sometimes, having to take a razor to my head everyday. But absolutely worth it. Wish I would have done it sooner.

The sound and sensation of hair being razor shaved is addicting. After that I asked the barbed to apply alcohol, it stings for a short time but after that it feels clean and great.

wildebes i started loosing my hair in my early 20's and i just did not want to deal with it I looked like a goof ball with my thinning hair so i just shaved it on a slow day at the shop. Barbers as a general rule are the last ones to get haircuts, you work all day cutting hair and then have to ask a coworker for a haircut. Or you try to give yourself a haircut and screw it up. Shaving your head just makes life easier on us.

I used to have long hair too. It was like going for an operation when I needed even a trim. I started thinning when I was around 23 also so off I went one day to a barber friend and said just take it all off down to the bone he said 'are you sure' I said 'do it now before I change my mind' and i'm glad I did I hate to think what I would have looked like today if I had put it off. This is the kind of head shave I want. Been buzzing my head with a pair of trimmers for the last 5 years. Never once took a razor to my head yet. Never felt the need to with how low I can get it with the trimmers. But if I was going to spend money for a proper head shave I'd want to come here. Looked up this shop and its 2 hours and 45 minutes away from me where I am in southern Ma, just a bit far for me to travel for a shave haha.

Dig it, looks good on him. I've rocked this look for 20 years now.. I like a faded side burn vs a lower hard line side burn, I think the longer side burn fade transitions into the bald better. Some times I'll rock the pointed sideburn transition too.

As far as being bald goes, this chap hit the genetic lottery. He's got fantastic head shape, youthful looks that border on baby-face syndrome to counter balance the ageing factor on the bald look, Sinatra like blue eyes; and most importantly, no moles or bumps on his dome - which is crucial when it comes to shaving and maintaining the look. I've got two moles to shave around off and it's a bitch man. Overall great video, 10/10 barber skills for the other gentleman as well.

That was a fantastic head shave! I’ve been bald for several years now and to be perfectly honest, I love being bald now compared to when I had hair then. My hair when I was younger was straight and thin. No wave and styling wasn’t even a thing. You don’t want to ever get a sunburn on your bald head, it is SO painful and a peeling head is not attractive at all. Sunblock on your head and ears. A hat is your best friend, especially if you’re on a tube floating down a river. I would recommend a soft bucket hat. 😊

Great head shave. He has a beautifully shaped head for the shaved look! The beard trim is wonderful. I wish he would have had his beard trimmed to approximately 3/8" though. Beautiful man!

Awesome video. Thinking of going this route myself. Could you guys do a video on daily maintenance/routine for a bald guy like this? Shave every day? Or just foil every day? I haven't even shaved my face completely since I could grow a decent beard so I don't even know where to start!

I know it's late but I been shaving my head for over 20 yrs, I was military and it was easy then I got out and kept doing it. I usually shave every other day, you can try daily but you might get irritated. Also make sure you wash your head. I put lotion and sunscreen on mine. Use a safety razor because they do a better job than the fancy expensive razors, plus they are like a buck for 10 blades. I use a shave soap instead of the can crap. Nice cut and shave. I dig the more natural beard trim. Meaning not trimming into the lines of the natural growth. But every person has there mental image of how they like to look. But this video is on point.. Great job.
