Dramatic OB visit | 16 week bumpdate

That must have been so scary for you guys! I'm so glad to hear that everything looks ok with your sweet little bean! From what my OB tells me about tilted uteruses, they all tend to "un-tilt" as the baby and uterus grow, so hopefully soon you will be feeling all those sweet little baby kicks and hiccups. =] Hopefully those pesky headaches don't continue. I get migraines from time-to-time and I know they are not fun at all.

Bless your heart! I know how nervous you were on Wed. I'm so glad baby is doing good. I too have that retroverted (backwards tilting uterus), and my Doppler really didn't pick Kaitlyn up very well until I was about 16 weeks along. Also it took me a long time to feel her movements too. Even now, I can tell I feel a lot of movement closer to my back, chase it's just how my uterus lays. It's also why I had back labor so badly with Ethan. I felt most of my contractions in my back, not fully in my abdomen. So, you have that to look forward too in the future. I have heard that as pregnancy progresses, the uterus can correct itself and become less tilted. I actually think mine has been more tilted this time around, but I can let you know as I go along if mine seems to straighten up lol! Good news is that it doesn't cause any harm to you or the baby if it's tilted. Just makes it slightly more uncomfortable for you. So, I'm going to hope yours straightens up for sure. You are doing great, and you have that beautiful glow! ❤️

Strength Beyond The Storm Thank you love!! I was a bit of a hot mess on Wednesday ;). I forgot that you have a tilted uterus too! That will be good to remember. I already anticipated having bad back labor, during my periods and miscarriages a lot of the pain is in my lower back.. oh joy! At least Tim has a lot of practice rubbing out those knots! I'm sorry you had a little scare finding the heartbeat. I have a tilted uterus too. I hope you have all great doctors appointments from now on.

Glad everything's good! I know exactly what you feel like when its your Dr. appt. After I had a miscarriage I could barley talk to anyone the day of the appointment but when it was over it was like I would get mad for getting that upset. Even with my own daughters having babies I get so worried until they call and say everything fine. Maybe we are just born worry warts! Something I forgot to ask is are you guys going to fine out the gender?
