I followed her from the beginning and it was literally because she was a train wreck. You guys missed the part where when after one of her many mental breakdowns, she ended up getting the cops and ambulance called to her home. Well when she got there she told ER personnel that “the trolls were after her”. Well she failed to mention they were internet trolls and the hospital threw her in the psych ward for a few nights because they thought she was talking about Bridge Trolls. 😂😂

As someone with an anaphylactic reaction to kiwi, lemme tell you that I am lowkey afraid and suspicious of every single thing that could possibly have kiwi in it (any fruit salad, smoothie, or saucy/marinated foods are suspect where I live). Even as someone with a severe gluten allergy (nowhere near anaphylaxis), I still will not touch gluten because of how horribly painful it was during the months of finding out why I felt like I was dying. It took almost a year to fully recover from it because of how badly it shredded my digestive system and to this day I don’t touch it. I can’t imagine having to live with a severe allergy that causes anaphylaxis, I am so sorry. Please be careful out there, and please do NOT eat random food you received on your doorstep like this lady 🤦♀️😂 as you have both established…I really doubt she has a severe black pepper allergy.

I don’t even have a deadly allergy to rosemary, it just makes me break out in hives (if it touches my skin) or it makes my throat/tongue itchy and a little swollen and have bad digestive issues (if ingested), but for those reasons I don’t eat anything that has herbs on it unless I know exactly what those herbs are. If something just says “herbs” on the ingredients list then I stay away from it. I recently had a flare up at Costco after I took a sample bite of some chicken patties and I stupidly didn’t look at the ingredient list beforehand. I grabbed a box so I could buy it, but then my mouth started getting super itchy and I couldn’t stop burping. The last ingredient on the list: rosemary extract. I had to wash my hands a bunch too because the oils from the patty kept irritating my skin. What pissed me off the most is that it tasted really good, but I couldn’t have it.

I feel you on the CPS thing. I have EXTREMELY high metabolism and was very skinny as a kid. I was asked did I eat well at home and always replied yes, because I love to eat. Well, the school didn't believe me or my little brother, because they called CPS. Those people showed up RIGHT when we were all having dinner. My mom cooks a lot, even though there's just four of us. Both my mom and step-dad were hella confused why those people were even called. THANK YOU BUFF!! You always keep your emergency medicine near! My aunt had an asthma attack while she was driving down the highway and I was the only one with her. She barely had enough air to tell me which inhaler she needed since she had like 7 in her purse. It was a very scary situation!
@Lina_unchained2 жыл бұрын
First, I am so sorry that that happened to you. Having contact with CPS sucks no matter what the outcome is. It's not a visit anyone wants to have to have nor is it a report faculty ever wants to have to make. I've been on both sides of it and it's not a great feeling. Second, to clarify for people who don't know: any teacher, admin or staff in a school (not including maintenance staff or food service staff) is a mandated reporter. It doesn't matter if you say things are okay when there are physical signs that are concerning we still have to report it (people especially kids being abused or neglected will say nothing is wrong more often than not) but we will note what you told us in the report and make sure that we mark down whether we feel what you've said is credible or coerced etc etc so that all of the info is there. We go through a specific protocol to report something to CPS. We are trained to see signs of different types of abuse and we are trained on our obligation to report and how to properly do that, what our state law is, what the school protocol is and how to report something to be investigated because we are legally REQUIRED to. BUT It triggers a very specific multi step protocol beginning with the reporter, then going to admin, then multiple steps have to happen and CPS is contacted to begin an investigation to double check and make sure everything is okay, because many signs of neglect can also be other things so the idea is that it's better to investigate and make sure everything is in order rather than to do nothing and have a kid be harmed or killed. But it is not quite the same thing as any other CPS call. It's not the same as like Beverly from next door saying a whole bunch of stuff and calling CPS and them opening a case on the parents and taking the kids.

it seems to me that cps/child protection can be counted on to harass the wrong people while unable to discover or bother with actual abusers.

I don’t remember a ton but I remember being terrified. I have a weird discoloration where I got stung. I always have an EpiPen and Benadryl on me at all times. Certain types of perfumes will actually cause my to have a similar reaction and ppl look at me like I’m nuts while I’m finding my inhaler and Benadryl. Lol. As entertaining as this was and I laughed my butt off…God this is like watching my grandmother. She’s JUST like this. She was thought to be just bipolar but was later diagnosed with Schizoeffective disorder with Narcissistic personality disorder. Schizoeffective disorder is like an higher level of bipolar BUT with your brain only telling you that your truth is the only truth and everyone else is wrong and or at fault. It’s truly heartbreaking and super sad. Because of it my family and I haven’t talked to her in over 16 yrs.
@Jules25619 Жыл бұрын
I’m sorry to hear of your grandmother, but to clarify, schizoaffective disorder is the combination of mood disorder symptoms (e.g the mania/depression typically seen in bipolar disorder) and schizophrenia. The “your truth is the only truth and everyone else is wrong” most likely was due to the narcissistic personality disorder. Glad you were able to get away from her and heal ❤

I have to be careful to check lables EVERY time I shop. I carry epi everywhere, my service dog wears a tag that says I have it in case I'm unconscious, and I'm on a daily antihistamine regiment. Thank you guys for acknowledging how women are treated differently, mostly in a negative way and especially online. It may not seem like a big deal but sometimes being validated is just the best feeling after being gaslit your entire life. Women, LGBTQ, and especially people of color are gaslighted a LOT when it comes to our life experiences.. particularly when we point out how unfairly we are often treated.
@zeodark27618 ай бұрын
Completely wrong. The internet is full of simps that will give women anything they want simply to get attention from them for a few minutes and treat women like they’re made of literal gold just for being born a girl. Nobody has ever been nice to men as a whole for just being born a guy. Ask transgender men who are depressed because once they became a man, they realized nobody cared about them or their feelings anymore . But most women will never understand because they’re unwilling to see both sides and that they’re clearly on top now, only beaten by the highest value males

Being a mandated reporter I have a whole new look on ppl calling CPS. People make KZbin channels and expose their abuse or fake it and do not realize that the mandated reporters who know them irl HAVE to report or lose their licenses, jobs, careers, and more. If I see people I know online making content exposing abuse I message a lawyer and then have the lawyer inform them of the report. We can make the best case possible for the people, emphasizing it was content seen online so it might be real or fake, but we still HAVE to report this. Imagine being a pediatric dr seeing a mom you know online exposing their abuse to their own kids. That dr could lose their career over neglecting to report.

My dad was a volunteer firefighter and trained EMT. I don’t remember too much after 911 was called. But I remember him talking to me and trying to control my breathing and panic. The only time we saw REAL emotion come from her is when the other woman said that the “pepper” woman had actually driven multiple people to suicide. I have a cumin allergy that is *similar* to how she describes her reaction, but my face swells and gets tingly all over (similar feeling to when your face unnumbs from novocaine in a way), my tongue swells, and it's hard to swallow. It baffles me that her first thought is to post a video of it, because I'm usually on my way to the ER if it's bad enough. My allergy can be really tough to avoid since cumin does not have to be labeled on ingredients, so I have Benadryl on me 24/7. My EpiPen is always nearby too but luckily have never needed it (not in storage like this lady).
