Lovely part of Italy and the water is so blue and clear. It’s nice to know it is still as beautiful as it was when I first visited in 1960. Thank you so much💞.

This video is so much better because instead of just seeing your face we have a wider angle to see the walls and things around you. I love it!! We know what you look like so seeing the town is the real pleasure. Thank you. I was in Malcesine in July and loved it. Pesceria del Garda, Salo and we stayed in Sirmione. I think a key is to get up early and walk around prima DI colazione. In Sirmione I was all alone with the beauty. Shops weren’t open to distract the eye. Same in venice!! Highly recommend

Haha thank you :) I agree, waking up early or visiting off season is definitely the key to enjoying Italy better!

Italy actually rewards you for conscious tourism in ways you might not think of. Cinque Terre in May, Venice in January, Florence in October (ie ‘off season’), you get a more Italian experience. Less packed, cheaper accommodation and more chances to interact with Italians. Some of the best meals in my life have been in ‘back street’ Trattorias that only locals frequent: good home cooking, the Italian way, delizioso 😋
