it would be helpful if you wrote the names of the neighborhood you showed!

What are the names for these streets? Very difficult for the people who don’t know Italian.

I enjoyed this video very much! Thank you and I will need to make note of what to see the next time I am in Venice. I truly fell in love with the beautiful city when I recently visited. I completely agree with you as it is my favorite so far in Italy compared to the other cities I visited

This is a very good and helpful video. I have to say that I'm not crazy about your choice of background music, but you see Venice engagingly and sympathetically. I never even knew about the bookshop! I have to admit that, though I love Venice, I found myself yearning for trees and green grass, of which Venice has very little. It's almost all stone and water.

Which books do you recommend to read so we can learn more about these Italian legendary stories? I'm very intrigued! Just learned through the History channel on KZbin about Fondamenta dei Mori :) would love to learn more! Planning my trip to Italy in 2024.

The next time you must visit San Sebastian's church with paintings by Veronese, One of the most beautiful of the Town. And San Pantaleone, near Santa Margherita, with the most big painting of Europe

Thank you for these recommendations! We've already been to the second church, it should be featured in one of my older videos from Venice ❤️

I have been fortunate to have visited Venice a few times and having seen most of the big sites, it would be interested in finding local specialty shops as we wander around the City.

Thank you so much for your comment! I'm happy you enjoyed Venice, and I'd love to make a video about local shops in Venice - hopefully, this fall if the situation in Italy is stable!

Grazie Mille. I would like to see more of the interiors of the churches. Not the most popular but those off the beaten path. These Catholic Churches are the treasures of Venice with their art snd the love of centuries of families contributing to their grandezza. Grazie! I like these longer videos. Super fun to be with you!🇮🇹🇮🇹❤️❤️

Thank you so much - it means a lot to me ❤️ I'm definitely going to film more of the interiors! :)

There is still beauty to be seen in Venice even today if only one observes it. Take a look here if you want to see Venice from my window. From the window I am able to view a microcosm, a bridge two minutes from the Rialto, from which I have collected fragments of Venetian life, gondoliers, tourists, etc... There is a lot happening around us, and we need to be aware of it and to be able to observe it.

Let's say you're staying in Venice and you feel the desire to dance, in a nightclub. What is the easiest/closest way to do that?

Grazie. I spent the month of April 2022 in Venice. I rented an apartment in Castello and really got a taste of living like a local. Having lost my credit card and bank card in Florence before coming to Venice I was restricted to living on the cash I had. I did get a month pass on the vaporetto upon arrival so I was able to hop on and go where ever I wanted every day. I did go to Murano and Burano and San Giorgio. Shopping at the local grocery store and cooking for my self every day I was able to eat well and make the cash that I had go a long way. I did stop at the local bar for a Spritz and got a gelato before going to the park several times. My choices of places to go that required entry fees had to be well thought out. Experiencing Venice in this way truly was a blessing. Wondering aimlessly through the narrow lanes and sitting in the parks observing the birds and turtles, sitting along the lagoon watching the boat traffic was not as a tourist but a traveler or even more like a local. I came home with 20euros. I long to go back, but I will be extra careful to not lose my wallet. I 💖love💚🤍❤Italy
