Good on you, that is not a place anyone should want to work. A small thought however if you would indulge me. I do not think "Black people" are expected to be the bigger person. I think EVERYONE should want and try to "be the bigger person." What does that mean? It doesn't mean you have to endure it silently, or tolerate it without recourse... But it does mean not letting it change you. Not letting it make you sour and hateful. We all should try to be the bigger person... but when you see something wrong, say something... and stand up for yourself and others. These are just the things my grandfather taught me when I was growing up, and I don't ever remember him making a distinction about peoples skin color. So I don't either. I love you and Im sorry you went through that. I wish I could know you and be your friend, but as we are two ships passing on the sea of the internet I will instead just say "I wish you well and safe waters my friend, and blessings upon you and your family."

That's why you lead by example to teach kids to be honest and forgiving. Jerome did right to give her that position. It shows that even if the kid were to make the same mistakes he could learn from it himself. You should know which people to forgive and which ones you honestly shouldn't. Olivia confessed her wrongdoing while many would take it to the grave. Think about it.

@blackoutbunnie7603 Жыл бұрын
@@radrolla3406Lol no. It’s wonderful that she confessed wrongdoing, but in the real world deleting company data due to internal conflict within ones self does not mean you should be rewarded with a job offer. It does mean that when a new company calls to do a background check on her etc that they could possibly still give her a better recommendation than if she didn’t.
@radrolla3406 Жыл бұрын
@blackoutbunnie7603 that's not the overall moral of the story. The only reason she deleted the info was to frame Jerome. Otherwise she would have done her job. Therefore the root cause is not either person deleting that precious info, it's the motive behind it. Even so, that's up to the company itself whether or not she gets the job anyway. For instance, in my case, if the kid wasn't able to be a witness and they still found out SHE was the one behind it, I (and likely the company as well) wouldn't have forgave her. In that sense I'd agree with you. But in the context the mother unfortunately was blind enough that she had to learn from her son, she should still have a second chance, mainly to give her kid a positive example to not make that same mistake that would push her financial situation further down the hole than it is in the story.

Nicolaus I agree with you, this video is showing a different world that is not focusing on attacking each other after mistakes but growing together and learning if he hadn’t shown how great a person he is the mom would have continued hating people of color and pushing her son to do the same, destroying their relationship because the son learned to think better about people of different color. In this version she would correct people wether it’s her friends or family who had the same mindset because she was shown it doesn’t matter what color they are , it’s the person inside that matters. which will make the message continue.

@@PostallDoode well changing history is what racist people is good at look at the books banning, they are banning them because it makes a certain set of people feel bad about their past if you only feel shame then you learned nothing hitler and the Nazi did the same with banning books too, then saying Africans came to America as workers instead of slaves lol now who’s changing history

@@Godknowsvita that's not true, if they're got married the law can't stop them, that means there's nothing we can do, but if they kiss and hug in public places, the law can stop them, because if you enter the mall you should read the the rules and regulations on the main door of the mall, supermarket, parks etc

Wow... Racism really bothers me and I'm white. I grew up with racism. It took God several years ago to show me you didn't choose who you are, where you were born, your nationally, your skin color, your language, etc. We all are created and have no choice over somethings we can never change. I would never have given that woman the opportunity to work at my company whatsoever, ever.🥰

Why is it that in all short movies like this, the black guy has to always prove that he deserves respect either because he is secretly wealthy, college educated or because he was kind to his antagonist? Why does he need to put in that much effort just to be treated with basic decency?

I really loved this story! Max was quickly able to realize that what his mother had been instilling in him about black people, was totally wrong, after spending some time with Jerome! He was able to see Jerome for the person that he actually is, and not his skin color! Even after Olivia deleted the files to get him fired, and treated him so horribly, he still talked to the boss, and convinced him to keep her, knowing her financial situation! I just want to add that the boss was an amazing man himself! Keeping Olivia, and having no problem with Olivia bringing Max to work with her! Great story as always, and the acting, as expected, was top notch! ❤️
