That is true. That is why I told my husband after the first child that I do not want more. I got a pill from the dr. But it did not help. I was 18 years old. After the second child I went to see the dr again and than he gave me something that really helped.

The story was well plotted out with the "Karen" neighbor so horrible and the child so adorable. It really was evil the way that "Karen" set up the child and the mother. The resolution of the story was so socially responsible, that it left me in tears. This was great writing and the lesson was "...I would rather than friends or at least friendly neighbors... than walk out with trash in front of my--my door."

Sure it was not good she left her kid alone but that was for the first time. And yes one time is enough for things to go wrong. She tried to get her sister (I think) look after him but she couldn’t do it. She had to pay for the apartment so she had no choice. She wanted to ask for some money so she probably was not so comfortable to ask her boss if she could take her son with her . Still she shouldn’t have done it but sometimes things get really tough and people cannot think clear

There is a book, by SI Hiyakawa, a conservative linguist, Words In Thought And Action. The premise is that words are powerful and if you start a dialog, you can defuse any problems that stem from ignorance that manifests as fear. I have found in life this is usually true. This was an excellent quality video with an enlightened message shown in action.

The really tragedy is that many African American children haven't been taught enough of the history of their ancestors (a full, rich, beautifully resilient yet brutal and tragic tapestry) and are therefore not prepared, being raised in the "post racial" world ideology, many are convinced that racism and prejudice are solved. Hint: They are not.

I can't agree in this case. This woman went out of the way to ruin their lives. She framed the mother of littering in the hallway that caused all the tenants a fine. Then she lured a child out of his apartment by lying and left him outside by himself just to set the mother up for neglect so she could get her deported. The boy could have been in harm's way because of her actions. Also, she's so racist that she assumes the mother and her child are in the country illegally. She should have been arrested and charged for what she did. I found it a bit unrealistic that the mother would just invite her over for some tea and excuse her racist and scheming ways as being lonely and Sarah is suddenly over her racism. If I was in the mother's shoes, I wouldn't want that woman near me or my child and would have pressed charges.
