The man from this story caught his daughter painting her black doll's face white.
The girl explained that it was her kindergarten teacher who told her to do it.
After that, the concerned father decided to pay the teacher a visit...

In 1992, I was 3 years old when I asked my mother why the teacher said I had "poop colored skin". Mom is white, father is mixed native, white and black american. She called the director immediately and decided to catch the teacher in the act. So, the next day, my mom dropped me in class as if nothing happened, went to get the director and spyied the teacher. She was particulary nasty that day. I remembered that another colored kid and me had it rough. We were about to cry when my mom barged in the classroom like a hurricane, swooped us up and glared at the teacher. "You're the turd", mom called her -first and best insult I remember. The kid and I were placed in another class. This was in Austria. The year after, we went to South Africa, which is a story for next time.

The color of your skin has no determining factor on what kind of person you are or will be. My daughter is mixed race, and her father was abusive to us. As a small child she hated her appearance because she looked so much like him. She hated her “race” because of him. We worked hard to encourage her to see the positives of her genetics and be proud of the history on her father’s side, and to not let one person colour her view of the world. She is one of the most beautiful, talented, kind, brave… and also anxious… people I have ever met. I know that the self hatred will plague her all her life, and it hurts my heart. It didn’t help that the kids at school kept telling her she was adopted because she did t look like me. I ended up telling the kids that I sometimes have blue hair so don’t judge families based on appearance, but ended up dying my hair brown to try and match more to hers.

I’ve had racist teachers, I remember a teacher that would make me brush my hair outside, because I had curly Latina hair and all my classmates had straight hair. Another teacher let everyone have a soda for a school party, except me. In the same school, I was forced into ESL, even though I only spoke English. That was in the 90’s. Back then, there weren’t very many Hispanics in my school, but now there are a lot of Hispanics in my city.

I'm so glad that the teacher got fired from her job. There's no place for racism, homophobia, transphobia etc... in schools.

I feel sorry for parents and children, who are disadvantaged because of their unideal looks. This should not be the policy of the modern education! I hope to see more staff and administrators, who express the same values. Multicultural educators are in demand.

Tone of the first lessons I am going to teach my kids is that “skin colour doesn’t matter, we are all people it’s what’s on the inside. Don’t ever base someone on how they look, get to know them before you decide to dislike them. And you will be judged by your skin colour by people who are different, but don’t let that affect you” if we teach our kids to not see who a person is based on their skin now, then in the further racism might not be a problem.

Where are you located? I am asking because where I live, unfortunately, it is illegal to record someone without their knowledge, even for voice recordings. It is not even admissible as proof in court. :/

Look I am mix but Caucasian and trust me when a teacher hate you it's not always about skin color. I have experienced a teacher (also Caucasian) in college disliking me and never known why. I was a very calm student and always focusing in class. My best friend who was in the same course than me observed that our teacher was hating me. She never picked me when I was raising my hand to answer or ask a question, she even bothered me when I was in another class by telling the other teacher to watch me and once I asked a basic question like "when do we have to give you the project?" She answered and she told me to meet her at her office after class. You know what she told me ? She told me "if you don't have more intelligent questions then don't ask anything". She spotted me and years after I still don't know why. The teacher's smile in the video reminds so much of my rat teacher's smile too, she was giving me that same rat smile everytime she was telling me awful stuff. I am talking about it and I still rage inside. I remember It was so intense that it even made my best friend cry that time. Anyway I am glad that it is over.

I’ve known a lot of friends that are all colors, including a combination of two races. They’ve never had any problems throughout their lives, according to them. Thank God. Pat of them have siblings and those siblings have never any issues either. Im so sorry for some people that do experience it.

This is sad, this is what’s up with our school system. Teachers and society teaches us to be ashamed of having dark skin, and having colored skin is bad. To me no matter the skin color, it’s beautiful in every shades. I may not have dark skin, Ik it hurts because I remember I was shamed for being Asian(Japanese). People shouldn’t be ashamed of their skin color or race, do not change your shade of color, do not listen to what society says about your skin tone. That’s how your dad, mom, and god made you, they made you perfect. To everyone who is my brothers and sisters behind the screen, let’s destroy racism once and for all, and destroy the roots of the problem. To my brothers and sisters in heart, I love you all with my heart.

@@yapiolanda I know that you are giving a compliment but the "even if you are Black" takes away from it because it suggests that being Black isn't inherently beautiful when she is beautiful because she is Black. Also it sounds like you are saying that the only way she can be beautiful is due to having a beautiful personality and not by being Black. Rather just say that the person is beautiful without having to bring in skin tone or talk about how beautiful it is to have that skintone and other suitable comments around African features.

@@dinamothupi996 hey don't judge the book by its cover or by skin color, in other words, don't discriminate other people. You know it's also lucky for me that I am Asian Caucasian White. If you don't mind BUZZ OFF and besides, you don't care about other people's skin color, you only care is yourself.😠😠😠😠😠😠😠

I never understood people who think just because someone's skin is different than yours makes them less then, What is the basis for this belief? What makes one person not valued because their skin is different? It makes no sense. No person, no child, no one should ever feel different, less than or bad because of the color of their skin. We are one race, the human race, and all ARE EQUAL. No one is superior. Not a single person on this planet. Why can't humans just get the heck along and stop with the bullsh*t?
