Ok, ran the plastic boning through my little machine and it worked. Only problem is my ability to sew a straight line. I can't go slow with my machine and the plastic boning because it won't go through the plastic when going slow. Amy tips on keeping the line straight while going at a med/fast speed?

U can sew on the rigilene boning not the plastic boning. To sew a straight line try using a stitch in the ditch foot. Are u using a domestic sewing machine or a industrial sewing machine?

I really hope you see this, please can you tell me what needle size, machine tension and stitch length you use for rigilene? I am really struggling as my machine keeps skipping stitches with this and i cant find any information as to what settings i am to use on my machine for rigilene which is really frustrating. If you answer this i am very grateful.

Hi I would say 1st take the thread out the machine and thread it over sometimes it’s not threaded right. It happens lol, the machine tension I used is 2 1/2 to 3 and for the stitch length it’s 2 1/2 to 3…also make sure you sew at the two edges of the rigilene boning not on the inside. I hope it works out for you 🥰

Hi, which method do you suggest to use for steel boning? 1 or 2?

U can use steel boning for both if u are sewing the rigilene first and then put the steel boning after…but if u just want to use the steel boning by itself then sew the bias tape on the fabric first because u cant sew on the steel boning…once u sew the channel then put the steel boning in….❤️
