@@DrArkhedeLeon hahaha after I got chx finally I can leave the light pink marker on the deep caries alone without overthinking afterward. In some country its not a very popular steps so I had to find them with astronomical shipping prices, not many shop sold them even though its really helping.

Are the new materials that you use that also protect the nerve? My dentist applied Gluma or Calcium Hydroxide. Now I understand there are new materials. Thank you, they do tell me.

Hi! I love watching ur videos because you're very miticulous and detailed. I just had my pasta for 3 teeth lastweek but seeing how you do it bothers me if my dentist did a good work with mine. I still feel a slight sensivity around the areas where I had the filling, the dentist did not put anesthesia during the procedure which almost made me peed on my pants, it only took 20-30mins to finish removing caries and filling 3 teeth, and lastly the surface of my teeth(3 to be exact) were totally flat and rough. He didn't prescribe anything so I was totally wrecked for four days now due to sensitivity😩

Amazing work Dr.arkhe♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️, some thoughts here😅 1.why did you use diamond burs instead of CARBIDE bur, I read an article that says it increases the smear layer, thus making it difficult for adhesive to infiltrate and form resin tags. 🤔 2.why do you apply 3 step adhesive, instead of 2 step(etch+universal adhesive), is the 3 step bond stronger Thanksssss in advance ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😍😍😍😍

@takkhor20045 ай бұрын
It save time. In this video the filling take 3 hours, where the crown preparation it will take within 1 hour.And this big of cavity usually involve pulp where a root canal need to be done as well
@5part44 ай бұрын
Instead of having a extraction is it possible to shave a tooth down to the gum line clean all the decay so that you can avoid the healing time and dry socket of months. And just have that gap in the tooth or I will it cause problems? Cause I have a split cavity and rather just shave it down that extract the whole thing
@0o53B4o04 ай бұрын
if the tooth is already infected, shave it to gum level will not fix the problem, may getting worse since the food will compact in the new gap and turn infection way worse. Gum will be safely close in 7-14 days after extraction, unless you can afford root canal there is no other choice than extraction.

Quick question, how do you make sure you're restoring the original shape of the tooth? Do you go by pictures of the original tooth? Or by general understanding how how the tooth SHOULD look?
@Aaron-pq3wd Жыл бұрын
Alot of dentists will just go by how the tooth should look, aswel as doing a bite test to ensure teeth aren't clashing and can adjust from there. OTher dentist will take an impression of the tooth and do an onlay as the final layer which stamps the original structure on top.

Great content doc! I have a question to ask. 3 years ago i chose dentistry over medicine. That day I'd had a neck pain and pain in the fingers of my right hand for a week. I thought, i didn't have any major problems with my neck before and I've been feeling this pain for a week so i don't wanna decide against dentistry because of it. But unfortunately the pain hasn't gone away ever since. Doctor said it was probably a bad idea for me to choose dentistry because there should be a problem with my neck (herniated disc) and i went for MRI and doctors said it's fine and i need physical therapy and it helped but after six months the pain came back. My therapist said it's not a big deal just stiffness and trigger points. It's not severe but even walking or standing triggers it. Both stiffness and pain in neck and pain in the fingers of my right hand. Now I have 3 more years to finish dental school and I'm not even sure if i can become a dentist or not. Or even if i should quit or not. I don't even know if it's too late for me to get into med school. It's really hard (if possible) to do that now. I feel like i made a huge mistake. I'm 21. How serious do you think it is? Should i quit dental school? Some people say dental radiology is a good choice for me but in order to make enough money to own my own dental radiography clinic i need to work as a general dentist for some time. It means a lot if you answer.
@Qim2609 Жыл бұрын
That because you bend your neck and back so much
@HCRS95 Жыл бұрын
It is serious, but you should continue to be aware of it, engage with your physiotherapist and you will have to accept several things; You won’t be able to see high volumes of patients, it will break your back. You will find a part of dentistry where you are far fewer patients per day. This could be teaching under or postgraduates, lecturing, research, radiology, litigation, ownership, mentoring. Invest in loupes- specifically refractive loupes will support your neck the best. Invest in postural devices like back braces, saddle chair, supported shoes It’s important to note your income protection premium may be impossible to pay as or they even prohibit insuring your back and neck from these pre existing problems
