A cheat I have is I add the equation to the table setting on our calculator then work backwards. I get all my points from seeing where F(x) is 0 on the table

Hi @Kevinmathscience. My math teacher taught me a way to find the threw x-int. without guessing. You simply try all of the factors of the last number, in this case 8, and one of them will be correct

there is an easier way to get all your x-ints. Use Mode/Setup then choose 5 then choose 4 and plug in values. Get your answers for the x-ints and then work backwards to get all the calculations that they want to mark. Easy hack and no one has to know you used a calculator. Saves time in exam. If you wanna get a better explanation just ask and i will explain properly.

Won't your inflection point always be the middle value of the x intercept? So must you still show your working when finding the inflection point?

So then your first bracket will be (x + 2) (Ax^2 + Bx + C) and then you follow same technique that I used in video :) You will get same answers at end! :)

Not really although there are different ways to find x intercepts. So you can use different methods there. Just use the mode/setup method on your calculator to find the first intercept(someone explained it in the comments)then use synthetic division to find the rest.It's wayyy easier and takes less time.

Yes this can happen :) When this happens you can choose any of them and you will get all 3 of the same at the end :)

How do you find a,b,c if you are given two turning point

A turning point is where f'(x) = 0 So take the starting equation they give you with all the a's, the b's and c's and then take first derivative. Make it = 0 and then plug in the x value they gave for the turning point. Then do it again with the other turning point. Eventually it will end up becoming a simultaneous :)
