West of Loathing is a blast to play, and the incredible soundtrack is a perfect contrast to the absurdly goofy writing. Definitely worth playing, and worth drumming to!!

It's so fascinating that the battle music for a game that's drawn in stick figure form is so epic, dramatic, and serious, yet also slightly "funny" in a way. West Of Loathing has that distinct "style" where it uses tons of comedy, but also has some underlying "epicness" (and some seriousness within the writing) in the way the game is like. It's a parody that rightly affirms the style and genre of the west while also making fun of it AND having fun with it. Also Markiplier's playthrough of this game is a national treasure and the reason lots of people in chat were talking about spittoons. Let's just say that the spittoon is quite the "feature" in this game. XD

it's such a feature that in shadows over loathing, the game's sequel, there's even a speakeasy that has a spittoon supposedly owned by Mumflr Fumperdink. Even the devs knew Mark's obsession with spittoons.

Watching this video inspired me to go grab my switch and play through WoL for the third time. Every time is just as good as the last, and Byrd the Cow Puncher was able to defeat the game in three in-game days (two of which were waiting for the logging permit).
