have you considered listing the specific colored pencils colors you mentioned/used in the video in the video caption? i know you edit the video to show the pencil colors but having it in one list in the caption would be super helpful:) this is something i would greatly appreciate as i try to figure out what colors i should purchase out of the sets! i apologize if you have started doing this in future videos just thought i would mention it! all in all i want to thank you for being such a huge help in my pet portrait journey!!

Thanks so much for all your sharing tips. All your tips are so helpful!!! You are inspiring. I am an acrylic artist but I love all kinds of art and I just started working with colored pencils and water colors and now I think I need to purchase a set of pastels for blocking in colors like you shared. I have a few different colored pencil brands that I am learning about-Derwent, polys, luminescence. I love all your work and will continue to watch and learn Thankyou!!!!

I love PanPastels! That’s 100% what I would recommend to use with colored pencils. I have links for sets of pastels in the video description for Blick and Amazon! 😊

Great video Lana, love your piggy! I’m looking forward to more of your videos on drawing animals. Do you also like to use Lux Archival paper for animal portraits, or do you find Pastelmat is better?
@LanaGloschatArt2 жыл бұрын
Hey Nancy! Thank you. Some of my animal art is in liz archival… it’s a great paper, but it does eat up my sponges when using PanPastels and it can be a little messier… that being said the same process works pretty well on lux (although I tend to use luminance pencils more than lightfast pencils)
