I’m sorry you had to go through bullying/racism when you were here in America as a kid for a year. I don’t know why us American kids ( not all though ) are judgmental at a young age especially to foreigners in school. Even though America is obviously diverse as hell and we’re used to different types of races, America isn’t America without diversity. So yes just because foreigners are different doesn’t mean we should treat them as strange creatures. I’m a Pakistani who has lived abroad her whole life and in elementary school whenever we had foreigners we used to “joke “ around with them but as I grew up I realized what I did was not good at all. I’m not a bad person but I guess my elementary school friends had a bad impact on me. But I learned from it and became super nice to foreigners by the time I was in middle school. Sorry you had to deal with unnecessary b.s but not all of us are like that! Pakistanis living in Pakistan are really nice and giving to foreigners lol we should learn something from you guys honestly.
