I've been looking forward to this one! I'm betting Rick is more intimately familiar with faces, seeing as he spends about three hours a day applying caviar and champagne to his own. As a triathleet i have done a few strava-arts in open-water-swimming. No bad roads to follow. With the club we did a strava-art competition during covid lockdown. Some nice results then.

Strava art tip: walk, don't run, all intricate, small details. Else they get lost. Once I won the "Strava Art" category in a local 1 hour charity run for UNICEF during lockdown (first try). Got a coffee tasting for 2 worth like 120 Euro/pounds/USD. Didn't want to do the "most creative costume" thing. I wrote out "UNiCEF". the i dot was a very distinct "i" like roundabout/crossing (Barbarossaplatz) then I planned from there. A printed out map of the track was a good idea. Other STRAVA art pieces I did was a "🌹♥️" duo on International Womens Day 8 March; a logo for a contest (longest distance won, my 22 k was not enough, someone did an ultra 😂), and a "NORGE" (Norway) on an open field for their National Day because I felt like it.

Such a cool challenge, Strava Art is fun!! Well done Rick! But I was disappointed that Jess's got so little votes. I made a Strava Art cat once before, in an open field, to make it easy. UK roads are too tricky for me to draw anything... although I feel like people in places like NY are just cheating in this - it's just too easy with a grid map!
