Challenge idea: consistant track running. 10 Laps, the person with the lowest difference between fastest and slowest lap time wins.
@runningchannelАй бұрын

@daniel.sandberg.5298Ай бұрын
Then you could just run really slow and never change pace. Simple
@Pothi90Ай бұрын
@daniel.sandberg.5298 try it at post your results here 😉
@robinwitstok7045Ай бұрын
@@daniel.sandberg.5298 I feel like faster paces would be more accurate. The difference between 4:00/km (1:36 per lap) and 5:00/km (2:00 per lap) is much bigger than the difference between walking at 11:00/km (4:24 per lap) vs 12:00/km (4:48/km per lap)
@Jameso12345Ай бұрын
@robinwitstok7045 the differences you've listed, between 11 and 12 min/km and 4 and 5 min/km, are both 24 seconds per lap. Unless you mean psycologically a bigger difference? But I think that would probably be more the case for the faster paces if at all.

I agree but I also knew that 30 min seems too short a time for Jess so she would keep,going anyways.
@dmzttАй бұрын
Agree! Most modern songs are likely closer to 4 mins maybe even longer. Jess’s strategy would hv been fine if she had gone for just 7 songs maybe instead of 10!
@MorhawАй бұрын
I listen to a lot of punk rock. I think the 3 minute song length would be perfect, most are 2.30 with the odd one at 4 minutes. I knew with pop songs she was looking at a long run! Tom predicted her result and respknse perfectly!
@jeffreyburns5137Ай бұрын
Challenge idea: ask running related trivia questions. Someone gets it wrong, they run a lap. Someone gets it right, they pick someone to run a lap. But they only have x time total, and each lap uses some of the remaining time, when they run out of time, they are eliminated.

You should do a mario kart style race. A regular race but every once in a while you have surprise boxes with a special advantage (or disadvantage). Advantages are better the worse your current position (person in last gets a bike for 2 minutes, etc.)

Challenge idea, pick 2 points in Londen, Every runner can determine their own route and has to guess prior to the run how long it will take. The runner closest to their predicted time wins. During the run, no time, only a digital map is allowed.

Challenge idea if not done before: pick a time between 30mins to an hour and have one person set the inital distance run during that time period. Then everyone after that needs to run further, lets say an extra 2km, in the same time frame until everyone can't increase the distance anymore. You don't have to do the whole challenge in one day, it can over a week if needed...

Challenge Idea #1: Fartlek training at your agreed paces, make it relative to your pb's. Last to stop/not being able to keep up with your paces wins. Paces could increase relatively after 20mins (so you're not running for hours). Challenge Idea #2: Run a 5k on the road, then run a 5k on the sand/beach, closest time between the 2 runs wins. Could be really harsh and make it a time trial.

Challenge idea: Create the most erotic pace profile. Sarah get's to decide without knowing who's is who's :P More seriously, I'd love a video where 4-5 of you with very different paces start together with 7:30 min/km pace and then increase it by 30 sec each km. Just seeing the difference of some being totally fine while others are struggling and drop out could be interesting. And if you need to make it competitive you can always set personal goal times based on most recent 10km performance.
