Hey, you don't need to worry about the eyelashes in the NB character. Your art is so pretty! Being androgynous is not like a "requirement", and as you said, they can look girly too. As long as the OC looks like the OC it should be fine. I think you did amazing in your art style!

I have watched ever video on this channel 😭 you're videos are addictive to me because you don't have that weird like ??? spit thing???? Like when people whisper you can hear wet sounds, you don't have that unlike everyone else who makes videoz like this (that I watch) so I really love these video, anything you talk about is interesting because you keep things about yourself, advice, or your OCS and I don't see that alot they just go on and on about their OCS when I wish they would talk about themselves, makes them seem more real even though we do know they are.. atleast I know, can't say the same for others

I have no idea why, but I’ve been binging your videos a lot recently and have watched them so many times while I sketch (even bought the Everything brushes and immediately fell in love with them) so the screech I did once I realized this was a new video was…warranted lol. Glad to see a new video in my recommended and a new one to rewatch as time goes on. ❤

Hi there! Just wanted to say that I love your art. I get so obsessed about the lines connecting in my work, but seeing your way of drawing lets me know that it’s ok to not connect them all the time and that the piece can still turn out beautiful. Thank you!

i've only tried a few but if you don't mind small screens, kamvas 13(i use in this vid) and xppen 10 are pretty nice! although i will say that kamvas has a weird upward tilt sensitivity thing. for bigger ones, i've only tried xppen 15.6 and heard good things about other huion products

Hi, Lauren! :) I was wondering, as another artist that also uses a sketchy brush (su cream pencil) and doesn’t connect all of their lines, is it not possible to fill in flat colors with the selection tool or paint bucket? I tried to do that this morning…but it just wasn’t working. When I used the paint bucket, it would fill in some color but it wouldn’t reach under the actual lines. Leaving lots of really splotchy looking lines. I hope this makes sense! Thank you so much for your videos. ❤
@ayeoops Жыл бұрын
i havent found a good way to do it, so i just fill stuff in manually. the best way i think is to outline, and then fill with bucket

you missed half the definition of what impostor syndrome is 😅 impostor syndrome is when you feel you don't deserve what you have accomplished with your skills AND you feel you arent good enough. it might also make you fear that people will find out that you are a bad artist. It also is not only a creative person thing, it can happen to anyone is any field. I.e: you could be a physics professor and feel like you dont know enough to teach others. So, yeah 😋 i really enjoy your draw with me's they are very peaceful and i play them in the background while i work 😊
@ayeoops Жыл бұрын
yea makes sense! i didnt look up the definition or anything while answering so i only knew it off the top of my head and pov as an artist

How does she moves a layer? Which shortcut is it? I used to do it with ctrl+clic but now i cannot, i think i remove the shortcut and i dont know to put it back. :(
@kajusuraj9621 Жыл бұрын
Isn't imposter syndrome feeling like other people see you as more skilled than you feel like you are? Like if people say you're a good artist, you feel like you've somehow tricked them into thinking that, when youre not really. I'm almost certain that's what the definition of imposter syndrome is
@ayeoops Жыл бұрын
imposter syndrome is rooted in self-doubt, which i focused on talking about. fear of being exposed as unskilled to others is part of it too, just didnt cross my mind

that never put black or white in your art tip is so bad. there are plenty of times nature has pure black, and while pure white is very rare it happens. and even if it didn't, pure white can give a good pop to your art.

For whoever needs this, a really good book for overcoming imposter syndrome is Unlocking Your Authentic Self by Jennifer Hunt, M.D.. I was really struggling with imposter syndrome in 2021 and my therapist recommended it to me. It was transformational for me. I highly recommend it!
