Loved it!! I am an old school Illustrator and I am judt now dabling into electronic art sketch tabs and I am blown away by your use of layers and masking! Love your work, You have my Sub at first video of this coffee glass! Any tips would be awesome, I have worked with adobe photoshop a lot but not the illustration tabs. Greetings, Irina-another great demo! In my version the second layer you duplicated from the first ellipse will not cooperate. I draw the cup outline on the right but instead of mirroring it to the left, the symmetry line goes up toward the top of the screen. Should There be a different Drawing Guide setting? Thanks!

There are some things I cannot do with my procreate app that you are showing. For instance, I cannot get the bottom of the cup to shape correctly. I don't have the drawing feature to meet the lines in the middle when you draw both lines at once. I cannot seem to shade the cup black without going out of the lines either. Any suggestions?

I find it more difficult than paper and pencil, although you can get cleaner lines, but not everyone can pick it up and draw great.

You have to go to Settings -> Canvas -> Drawing Guide (Edit Drawing Guide then go to Symmetry at the bottom, press Done). You can then use it any time in any layer by toggling on Drawing Assist in Layers options. 😊

Yes I do! I use from time to time a screen protector (Paperlike) The issue I got with it is because it is soft and I easily do scratches that are annoying.

Tap on the Wrench then on Canvas and turn on the Drawing Guide. Once that's on go back to the layers, click on the layer you need the drawing assist on and it should show up now in the menu under the Clipping Mask.

Go turn on the Drawing Assist, Summetry and move the axe on the screen as you need. You current layer will be assisted but for the others uou will need to click on the layer and select the Drawing Assist. And then deselect it when you are done.
