So I wake up alone in my van on Christmas morning feeling like just mother day. As I was searching for something to draw I ran into this. I instantly try was excited to get back to my van and grab my iPad and start drawing which really is the only thing it seem to keep me going these days thank you for the tutorial.

Hello Irina, I have recreated several of your illustrations as a learning process. I love your work. However, I have watched this animation and I cannot figure out how you got the yellow stars and tiny flicking ones animated. I have no training in digital work.i learned by observing. I am a retired teacher who loves your art. Any hints please on how to do the animation(?)

Hi! This is one of my first tutorials and I was not great at teaching back then, I have to admit that (I'm still learning!!). I had about 3 or 4 frames for the animation. And each of them had the stars moved a little bit and tiny dots as well so when I pressed play it gave the impression they were moving. I merged everything for the first frame just as I had them in this tutorial. But before I had everything duplicated. For the following frame I just moved the stars a little bit using the Transform tool, duplicate everything again (so I ca do the next frame) and then do the merge. it's a 2021 iPad Pro. But any Ipad that supports an Apple Pencil will do the job
