I think both drawings look nice, the weak hand drawing seems to be drawn in a rather easygoing or messy style, and the other Leia looks a little bit more snobbish, because she is drawn so neatly.

I do art in college, and for our life drawing class we're actually encouraged to draw with our weak hand. In some weird way it really helps you to focus on the feeling or the "essence" of the pose rather than just copying exactly what you see, and has helped myself and my classmates to make some really expressive and unusual drawings. While your weak hand isn't going to work for finished drawings like the one in the video, there's definitely a place for it.

I always press like in fullscreen and then again when I exit fullscreen. That way I feel as if I show my appreciation twice as much! Although it probably makes no difference I still do it cus it feels good!

Your wrist hurts because lefites either turn the page sidesways or bend their hand around to accommodate the curve needed when using your left hand. I don't know why this is....it just is, lol. I know this.....because I'm a leftie...yippee! I always turn my page sideways when I write and draw, not that I draw as I'm rubbish at it, lol. Plus you were drawing your image facing to the left which is comfortable for right handed folk. If you had drawn her facing to the right, it wouldn't have hurt your wrist so much. Mary your left hand drawing is better than my normal left hand drawing. I know you say everyone can draw.....but you haven't met me, lol. Many have tried to help me draw....all have failed, teehee. I have to say, this is what I like about sculpting. I HAVE to use both hands to stay as symmetrical as possible. You can't get the same angles with the right hand on the left (right) side of a sculpture facing you.

Hi Mary, Ever since I was a child I have always written and drawn with both hands at the same time. I have to have two of every pen and pencil to do this because I can't draw or write if both hands aren't involved. I even use two air brushes at the same time. Both hands have to be involved at the same time for me to get my ideas out. My right hand tends to work the details and my left hand brings in more abstract shapes and forms. I have never know anyone else who does this. My art teachers never knew what to make of it.

When I was 13 (right handed btw) I was into gymnastics and moderately injured my right hand. While in school I was to shy to ask someone to help me with writing things so I just switched to my left hand. I'm 21 now and only use my left hand 🤣 wouldn't say I'm ambidextrous, though I do use both hands when drawing, I just write with the left, so I guess maybe I am? I had the same pain when I started, it's just from your hand not being use to the muscle movements being used. After a week it went away and I just enjoyed the challenge of using a different hand. Your left handed pic came out still beautifully though !

I came across this channel by watching random youtube videos, (I blame my stupid insomnia) this thing came up, watched it, and LO^v^ED IT! And hey, don't diss your other hand like that. It's like the twin who just learned to draw. Just because your right hand is the twin who got artistic genes and the left never picked up a crayon, doesn't mean it can't one day draw a Picasso level work. Keep at it, and you will become... Pretty good left hand drawing. You probably would have drawn a little better if the image was facing to the to the right instead of the left. That way you would be able to use the natural up and away arcing motions of your arm/wrist more and it wouldn't feel like you were fighting your body as much.
