@@codymcandrew3677I'm all for the memes, but Leyline is almost uncastable, and without Leyline, Scion is 8 mana. If you want to keep the scions and Leylines, you need triomes

I think the leyline is unplayable in this deck. You have 8 useless cards unless you draw a leyline on the opening hand, and it doesn't pitch to anything

Oh man. I have many memories of trying to make Stormfist Crusader good in the Eldraine Standard. Spoiler, I could not. Not in knights. Not in aggro/burn.

Eldraine had so many cool, iconic knight card. Stormfist Crusader and Blacklance Paragon both live rent free in my head.

Stormfist Crusader has found a lovely home in my Jirina Kudro commander deck. It’s not the best, but it contributes to the theme of committing as much violence as possible while still providing much-needed card draw.

I played it in Cat Oven with no regrets and it was always my favorite card in the deck. Carried me to mythic.

It was good in Mardu knights though after a few bans in standard, it was a solid tier 2 deck especially with the knight that could get embercleave or maul of the skyclave.

Structurally, the leyline package is flawed. 60% of opening hands will not contain leyline, and in those games, all 4 lines and all 4 dracos become dead for the rest of the game. I looked at the mana but couldn't see everything clearly. Can we hard cast line? We'd need either RBUW or RBGG, right? And we only have 2 colors. So Draco costs 8 at best. Domain decks can hard cast line if they draw it. We can't. I think we shoulda gone a different direction with those 8 spots

One day I'll be able to read the fucking cards properly. Scion of Draco gives First Strike, Hexproof, Lifelink, Trample and Vigilance to ALL your creatures, not only itself.

I've been brewing something similar to this which also uses Vial Smasher the Fierce alongside Scion of Draco and Fireblast for some absolutely insane burst damage. Between Leyline Binding, Force of Will, Fireblast, Scion, and Fury, you can be doing scary amounts of damage to your opponent with Vial Smasher, and then throw any permanents with Bombardiers.

The doctor who decks had a card called Memory Worm (1R 1/1, whenever you cast a spell not from your hand target player takes 2 damage and rummages, and it gets a +1+1 counter). I assume it's not on mtgo, and it wouldn't fit in this decklist anyways since you aren't casting spells from outside your hand. But I have to wonder if there is a way to brew a punisher list using it, because it's such a powerful effect, but requires such a specific build around.

Im curious how this would have played out if the leyline - scion package were out and some number of exsanguinator cavalry came in to make stormfist crusader scale better and provide selection to filter late-drawn lands and chrome moxen.

Round 5 Game 2 you could have attacked with the Goblin to play Leyline into Sheoldred and had live draws toward Scion. Still a long shot, but the game wasn't over yet

I actually like keeping Scion for storm (and lands too) just because it gives lifelink. 24 life vs. 16 can really matter, no? 3 bolts, 2 Sheol and 2 Kikis seem like reasonable cuts instead, as they are slow enough (well, bolt isn't but they don't have creatures)

It would be nice to see another run with an updated decklist. You had a pretty bad run of luck with Marit Lage out of the gate, Combo decks just always having the combo, Burning Inquiry drawing dead twice in a row, and Yo dawg I heard you like Bowmasters so I'll Bowmasters your Bowmasters times 3 to top it all off.

I think swapping out the Dracos with goblin guides would have given this deck a lot more oomph, they were bricks almost every time they came up. Cool deck otherwise.
