Just a PSA, be careful with Gem covered nails. My girlfriends sister got a towel caught on her gem, and since the glue holding on the gems is actually stronger then your fingernail, guess which comes off first. Yeah. Just wanted to give you a heads up, I can’t imagine it feels good.

My tip for any Inktober challenge is to just do something. If you think it looks weird or you didn’t have many ideas, just go with it and don’t beat yourself up over it. That’s what I do and I’ve never failed an Inktober challenge as of late. Just letting your creativity run wild when sparked by a prompt is really relaxing for me.

I feel like the point of Inktober is to load a sense of responsibility or challenge into your drawing routine, not to specifically draw one piece per day, but to keep you busy making art each day, and whether you're sketching or doing lineart, you're still working on your art, so you sketching in advance seems like extra positive commitment to me.

As someone who hopes to adapt his books into manga in the near future, could I ask for advice or wisdom on drawing and how to improve somewhat quickly? (Also, I would love to hear you gush about Vtubers for 3+ hours)

I’m no professional but I’m also working on producing my own manga or webcomic (not sure yet). I’d say focus on anatomy and perspective, those are important foundations I would say. Don’t be shy to look at reference photos! Also study color theory (if you want to release colored photos). Find what colors suit each other and which pallets you are comfortable working with! Now if you’re doing traditional manga with no color introduce yourself to screen tones and get used to using them for shading your pages. Backgrounds are also important as it gives your reader a setting so try drawing your surroundings or look at other references like city streets, grassland, etc. Now for style I’d say look at other artists for reference. Collect a few whose style you enjoy and incorporate it into your own (I’d try not to copy it completely tho). Lastly don’t be scared to look for feedback that’ll help you a lot in the long run! Push yourself to improve and draw frequently! I hope this helps and good luck on your manga!

@@royalnoobgraalera9078 I watch Vsauce, brackeys and polygon runaway because of the way they explain things So even if Yotube recommends a video about stuff like that I won’t watch it. As I said I usually watch videos I specifically search for, but when I want to learn something I watch videos from brackeys and polygon runaway. I watch Vsauce when I don’t feel like doing anything.
