You are amazing. Thank you for making these videos. I’ve actually just ordered myself some Polychromos so i can begin practicing my drawings because your videos have gave me a better view on these pencils. I subbed and have my notifications on ready for any of your amazing videos. Great job

Thank you so much for watching my videos. I'm really pleased you've gone for the Polychromos, I think they'll serve you well and I'll keep making guides on how to get the most out of them

I shouldn’t be putting a drawing with the polychromos under glass ? Like in a frame ?

Could you provide some advice on preserving finished art work? Do you frame yours right away, or, I’m thinking of a fixative spray, more specifically for polychromos, but there’s no real good advice on line anywhere. Thanks

My general process is I scan the finished piece as soon as possible so I have a digital copy, and if it's one I'm going to keep/show it's framed right away. If it's to be archived it goes into an acid-free cellophane wallet. I've never used fixatives on Polychromos and everything I've read suggests the cons outweigh the pros - remember, Polychromos are oil based so they don't suffer from wax bloom over time, they don't leave dust like pastels and they're some of the best for lightfast properties. Just keep them out of direct sunlight and behind glass and they should last for years and years.
