Been active on sketchendeavour since you started it. I have watched the community grow and the many ways people are encouraging each other and talking one another through tough spots in their artwork. What an amazing experience being around so many people that demonstrate a sincere interest in their art and willingness to support others. It has been a wonderful experience for me and I am sure many others who are not able to get together regularly with other artists to share their journeys in art. What an amazing international community of people who are sharing their interests in subject matters, their cultures and their time with each other! Thank you Andrew for opening up the world to so many of us!!! Loving your work and your passion in the world of art and thank you for bringing us all together!

Others may try to influence toward "painterly paintings" where details are simply implied, but Antiques Roadshow reminds us that the old valuable paintings were full of detail. Your drawings and paintings will surely stand the test of time. Your work is beautiful!

Watching your process gave me some great insights, Andrew. Thanks for sharing this video. Not only did I find your techniques revealing, but your candidness was helpful, especially how this drawing remained on your table, taunting you for a long time before you could steal away enough moments to finish it. I totally felt that comment, as it happens to me all too often.

I have watched a large number of your videos. Your dedication to your art is incredibly commendable and more than a little inspiring. I’ve been disabled for 20 years now and haven’t been able to do my En Plein Aire watercolors or the large oils they inspired. But dammit I can sketch. Thank you. This video is the first time I’ve heard you mention your gallery. That you opened it at the start of 2020 has me worried. I really really hope it survived Covid and is now going strong. Let us know what happened with it. Good luck in all you do. Keep painting. And keep posting.

Dont give up Troy there's more than one way to skin that cat.. if you cant stand then sit, and vice versa. If you cant hold a brush in your hand try your feet, I knew a guy years ago who had polio and he was a mouth painter.. he could hardly move. I burnt my hands as a toddler and learnt to hold pencils in my toes.. cant do it now though but I would give it a go if I had to rather than give up on art. Im 70 now and suffer chronic pain and even though I might not be great I do enjoy it and others like and even buy the odd thing I feel like I am brightening up the world one painting at a time. Cheers from Western Australia.
