This is Part 2 of the video lesson from the drawing course. The task requirements for this part of the course was to drawing Pyramids of the same proportion, one stacked on top of the other, and rotating at certain intervals. It’s very tricky to draw this one, the potential for mistakes and perspective distortions are numerous, but I walk the viewer through one such method of how to approach a task like this.
This video gives some insight into the constructive drawing process when creating complex images such as this one. Being able to think and draw in a technical manner is important for the development of the artist, so that they will be better equipped to tackle larger and more difficult subjects such as architecture and human anatomy.
