@@silly.w0of i think they could use their mouths to put things in place,paws to dig dens or the dens would just already be a small cave,and their weight to push heavy things around and other cats would help to put it in place

@@keexshound Yeah whenever it says that they carried something in the books I always just imagine that they carry it in their mouth, like cats usually do in real life. I don't imagine cats as diggers, but the Warriors and Medicine cats would defenitley need that skill.

My guess is that they primarily just reinforce/ modify already existing formations. Take an abandoned den, fix it up, etc.

This is so pretty. In my own story my thunder clan medicine den has a bunch of herbs hanging from the roof kinda like this one, but it has mulitple shelves and stuff too. Plus the den I made has a small little pool where the med cats can get water instead of getting it from the river. And I also made a large dirt ramp on the right side of the den that leads up to a loft where the medicine cats sleep and sometimes shelter elders if there’s a storm and the elders den gets flooded. And I also had a small bramble room where cats with green cough or something can basicly quarntine while they get better. I have a similar thing too to the paw prints, in my story there’s a huge tree growing on top of the medicine den that is said when a medicine cat dies star clan carved out a symbol to represent their honor. And it’s a myth saying that part of the medicine cats spirit remains in the tree watching over thunderclan. Please don’t take this as copying I had this idea for almost two years now so I’m not copying this I promise. Also don’t take it as trying to self promote I just thought it was cool the dens were a bit similar And the fact the kits can paint on each other is adorable!!! So cute! Imagine if some kit got hold of some raspberry’s and painted it on themselves to look like blood and make it look like they got cool battle scars or something. That would be adorable

Having added the paw prints on the walls of the cave gave me some major children hospital vibes. As a young and sickly little kid that had to go to the doctors often because of a rare medical disease I just loved the bright and lively paintings on the walls and seeing the small paw prints made my day. Thank you for bringing back memories Tennelle! ❤️

I’m currently working on a book writting in the warriors universe, just different cats everywhere like Clouded Moon. I love the idea that WindClan works together with everything, which leads me to my idea about their fighting style. I want to push the differences in appearances of different clan cats, and celebrate the pros the cons the body types bring. I have WindClan cats learning to fight in pairs, and the take advantage of their smaller size. For ThunderClan, I have them fighting “alone” due to their larger size. I really just like playing into their differences and strengths

I think you should totally still use the idea! You had the idea before, so it's not like you're stealing it or anything. Maybe make them a different colour or do something a little different and I think it'd be really cool! I had something similar planned for on of my oc clans, and not doing it because somebody else is would suck. It's hard to be 100% original.

I would imagine the yellow pawprints as a thing each new medicine cat marks Like, when a medicine cat apprentice finishes their training, their old mentor will tell them whatever they haven't been told about the pawprints before and then help them to put their pawprint on the wall. It would probably be a way of keeping connection to former medicine cats, and a way to show younger cats in the Clan how many healers have served them
