Honestly though, in the case where the villain would never realistically be seduced, I wouldn't just say no and make the bard's efforts be made in vain, but rather, allow the villain have a confused "WTF?!?" moment that changes their initiative order, bard's choice. My reasoning is the villain has a brief moment of self reflection, where they question their own sexuality, and then curse themselves for that moment of weakness they were unaware they had.

A group I played with did stuff like that, If you played bard in that group (I did when we started) whenever you did a song you had to actually put it on the speaker so we could hear it. You had to pick songs according to your rolls, if you had a low roll you would play a bad song if you rolled high you would play stuff like DragonForce.

Canon: the way the original is played on guitar and drums is so you can't claim it was all played on one lute and you've been mesmerized/witchcrafted into thinking it's a whole band to a massive crowd with supposedly impossible instruments. What do I mean? People do understand electricity exists nowadays, they just don't have a coherent concept of how it works or they're afraid of saying so, cause that might be misunderstood as them committing heresy or witchcraft or something like that.
