Thank you so much for all of your efforts. I have learned so much and grown in my abilities to draw and even my willingness to make mistakes and loosen up how I draw (without a ruler!) Thank you very much!

Wonderful to hear. Keep at it. Confidence is an underestimated part of the process; not too little and not too much. You sound in a good place with it all. 😀

Oh my goodness , you have just pointed out where I’ve gone wrong in my “ trying “, to draw a building. You started from the BOTTOM and work upwards. Like this makes absolute sense , who starts a house with the roof first. Yikes 😫 🤨😫. Thank you. I only discover your channel 18.01.25 and already you have impacted my art. 😊💐.

I’m so glad to been helpful. In larger buildings I often start from the centre and work in both directions. Welcome aboard my channel. My playlists may help you navigate all my videos. 😀

Enjoying your lessons! Do you draw flat or on an incline Stephen? Thx

Flat. Easier to video, but I think I would anyway. 😀

I practiced a lot of hatching from YT videos. They all show how to hatch squares or spheres. I feel challenged with direction of hatching on actual buildings… any tips Stephen? Thank you. The Struggling sketcher.

The video two back is completely on this. I also have a playlist on cross hatching if you’re interested in more from me. 😀
