this is mindblowing, I knew about the alt + up/down keys, but not about shift, and definitely never knew you could copy paste the line weight information onto other lines!!!! 🤯 thank you for making this video!!!

Thank you SO MUCH!!! I always draw lines with one thickness and at the end go through entire animation and manually make needed lines with another thickness. Your method saves me so much time and makes me free from remembering the thickness size!!

I've been using Harmony since 2013, and there are several tips in this video I only just learned in a paperless class I took last week. Even I'm always still learning.

Omg thank you! I had some troubles to do a very short animation on Toon Boom because I couldn't make the lines look good, so I did a lazy job and barely fixing anything xD

You are a saving grace for Toon Boom freelancers and users in general. You explain things with the perfect pace and very entertaining, bringing a lot of joy to working with a software that is very technical and has a lot of shortcomings (in my opinion). I hope TB compensates you for the videos. Or else they don't realize what value you hold for them!

I don't get compensated by Toon Boom for these videos. XD They did kiiinda offered in the past... but i refused. I turned down the offed because that would have removed the complete freedom i have with my channel. I would have had to do it their way, and deal with the marketing team and ect... and let the video editing to them all... I was really not interested. On a side note though, I do work for Toon Boom XD I just do youtube after hours

Hi. I'm currently a bit existential and sorry for the offtopic question, but. If everybody says 3D animation has the best jobs in animation, why aren't you making 3D?
@ZeBirdBrain Жыл бұрын
Cuz i like 2D more

@@ZeBirdBrain Yeah. I don't want to be the old grumpy guy that just stays with what he likes most losing industry oportunities, but it seems we just can't help following what we like. And it does have some oportunities around the world. I also am a 2D animator and don't care when 3D artists say that their industry is best and we should switch because of payment and stability. Which is not despicable. But I just enjoy more to draw than to push a puppet.
