Having fun and jumping in to drop the level which you did. PLEASE remember if your battery is flat SWITCH OFF all extras before attempting to start vehicle. Same goes for middle of winter dont have blower , heated rear window lights and other item as efficiency drains it and less chance of starting.

Those beavers are amazing. They go to all that trouble to make a pond, when they eat wood for a living. I thought they must eat fish or something but they only eat wood and plants. Its amazing they can seal off water just with sticks

It might have been all the charging you did of your camera batteries too that helped drain your battery, I'd get it tested when you get home. Today you might get 5 years on a battery before it goes bad and needs replacing. I miss block heaters being common in cars, my old SUV had one and it really helped in -20 C or colder temps. Led lights are getting brighter and cheaper every year, I have 4 - 3,000 lumen bicycle lights that really light up a trail at night. They now have 5,000 lumen bike lights out, as bright as a cars headlight. 😊

I've thought about getting a block heater because we do get on average, at least a week of -30F. Or oil pan heater it's easier to put in. My battery is only two years old. No issues I don't think yet

You could try out one of those 360 degree action cameras. In post-editing you can point the video wherever you think the action is.
