Don't worry you are not the only one who spends a long time on the character creator lol. Looking forward to seeing what the starter Faezoan, since this is your own thing you don't need to go with the whole Grass/Fire/Water layout even if it is a classic and easy to remember. I imagine the types would still have to counter one another, but you could play around with what counters what. Maybe instead of the classic pokemon trio you could do Fire/Ice/Lightning the three base elements of offensive magic, or I figure the match ups would need to be more complex if you used the classic 4 elements...but there is the chinese 5 element system that already has a whole thing about how they interact with one another: Fire/Earth/Metal/Water/and Wood. Sorry, I don't want to put more work on you than you already got, I am sure you already got plans. I got new Kaida stuff! We went on a new adventure sponsored by an NPC friend of the party, The museum owner. He had a location for a lost civilization and needed our help excavating with the promise that we could keep some of the treasure we find so long as he can at least see all the treasure and document it. So far we have found a royal tomb, a Library, a Warrior's tomb, and a forge. There was a really cute moment where Kaida asked the Mercenary Fighter of the party about the Forge; Her father who she recently started connecting with used to be a Blacksmith Apprentice to Heatran after his parents traded him for a Sword, he didn't like being a blacksmith very much since it reminded him of abandonment, but he did get good at it. Kaida wanted to understand more about his experience, and seeing how the Fighter was clearly interested in the forge she decided to ask him about it. Usually the two of them butt-heads a little bit, in that moment Kaida activated the magic words to get him to share his special interests with her and it was a great little bonding moment between them. Also a previous player who had not been around for a while rejoined the group with a new character but he made a bad first impression cause he didn't really think what he was doing over...He wanted some street-cred for stealing from Kaida, except he didn't grab one of Kaida's treasures, he grabbed a Bronze Sword and Shield which the fighter had discovered. Then when he got found out he tried to cast "Command: Sleep" on the Fighter, which failed and only pissed him off more than trying to steal from him! Kaida managed to tie him up and bonk him on the head while we decided what to do with him. Out of character we didn't want to kill him cause he's a player and just rejoined the party, though we all agreed this was a bad introduction, but our characters didn't have much of an incentive to want to keep him around. Turns out he is a Twilight Cleric of Lunala so we let his Goddess decide his punishment. She cursed him with Insomnia and had to serve his punishment helping our team. Out of session this had me thinking with my devious Kaida mind: A Strategically placed curse could be made useful...One curse can't overlap with another so having a mild curse could be beneficial in case somebody tried to give you something worse, and sometimes a curse could become useful under the right circumstance. Besides what's more fitting for a Pirate legend than a Pirate Curse? I think Kaida is going to try to negotiate with a Legendary she is on friendly terms with to give her a Curse she could turn to her advantage, and I am currently discussing with my DM what the curse could be.

@@Bysthedragon I'm gonna reply to this in two parts haha So I already did the starters a long time ago haha they still follow the Grass/Fire/Water trend because it's a nice triangle. I did think about a 4th starter being like Wind/flying type. I do plan to put out a video after this going over some redesigns (because I redesigned the starters like 3 times). There is a Grass Deer, Fire Snake, and Water Duck/Goose haha it's probably buried in my Michigan Pokemon Playlist. But yeah, more info about them will come out soon! I do like the Fire/Ice/Lightning though because it's a call back to the legendary birds hehe but we'll see! It's still all a work in progress.

@@Bysthedragon Your pirate adventures are always so cool! And yeah that feels bad when the player makes the wrong call and goes against the rest of the party. I had that one time, though it was mostly my fault for allowing it as the DM. A new player joined for a few sessions and he wanted to betray the party or work against him and I thought that was a cool idea, but didn't think about how it would effect the dynamic of the group and players since that was not an expectation. Needless to say that player will not be coming back 😅 Setting expectations for how the game will go is super important before the party or the dm make any crazy decisions that go against what was previously established. Also Kaida dealing with curse magic is so up her alley. I love it. Like hey give me a curse that will actually help me secretly lol. I also sort of did that with one of my players where he got mind controlled to put on a cursed ring from the big bad evil goddess of chaos and couldn't take it off. It gave him like forever darkvision and allowed him to cast invisibility at will as long as he was in shadow, but he couldn't see in normal light anymore. He also was no longer capable of talking about her and basically had to pretend he had no idea what anyone was talking about. Later on the goddess tried to mind control him more in his dreams, giving him horrible nightmares as she tried to corrupt him to her side. Thankfully he succeeded on a saving throw and the druid cast greater restoration to remove the curse and the ring broke. He's back to normal now, just traumatized 😅

@@SivanasArtStudio Thank you so much! I like to think as Kaida, part of being the self proclaimed Deadly sin of Greed is being willing to taking big risks for big benefits and I think betting on getting a good curse from a legendary that likes her is a good gamble to make. That's a pretty good Curse plotline! I like how it still had long lasting consequences even after being cured.

@@Bysthedragon Kaida just feels like so much fun to play! And yeah he got cured like last session 😅 it took them at least 15 sessions to deal with it. Druid forgot she was a healer xD the blood cleric wanted to cut off the wizard's finger immediately (fairy wizard is the one who got cursed because the chaos goddess is sort of like the fairy goddess under a different name- he has true name magic and it changed the whole plot because I forgot legendary resistances was a thing). Anyway, i plan to make a video in the future going over the whole plot with this party

Have you heard about the game D.A.M. Champion yet? Its a dark comedy similar to the original pokemon games.
