It's been a while but I always love coming back to your videos, and I'm always impressed by your drawings! Reminds me of Gerard Dubois!

Thank you for this review, I've been waiting for it! I bought the Nomad for note-taking, but find I'm trying to draw with this app. I definitely didn't inherit natural artistic ability, so bught a couple books to learn, and even drew pics recognizable as humans lol. Haven't explored different pencil types yet. Your comments will help me. I don't care for my HOM pen to draw. I prefer to use my staedtler jumbo with Boox nibs. Thanks again!

I love the _'Slow Pen'_ but still want a _'Calligraphy Pen'_ to complete the set. As for drawing, I too believe we need the ability to control layer opacity while admitting that I never really understood _'layer mixing'_ in the days I used the wonderful _'Jasc Software Paint Shop',_ long ago now before I fully moved over to the Mac.

I love to paint and draw but am in real estate and want yo upload my agreements as pdf for sellers and buyers to sign. Would you go for the larger real estate of the remarkable paper pro or would the nomad be sufficient with landscape capability.

My only issue is the small screen size for drawing. Interesting though how sketching is progressing on E ink devices. Thanks. for sharing fella.

True. I have an iPad 12.9 so when it comes to making professional finishes pieces, size and color are important. However, I dread bringing my iPad to a coffee shop or drawing with it in the bed for its weight and size. A small notebook like this is perfect for on the go sketches that I can send to my computer or iPad to polish later.

Would love to see a video like 'Taking notes on the new Supernote A6X - 3 Ways': 1. Essay writing (portrait & landscape) 2. PDF/Research Paper Annotations 3. Journalling Just an idea but would be great to see 🙏

Is there layer transparency setting on this? Can you import photos or other art on a layer?

Yes, you can add layers but no you can't change the opacity, and yes. 🙂

Did you say it's missing 'tilt'? Like...just turn the tablet. :)

Also, not to knock yours or any other artist's process, but I think the lack of blending options is just fine. I treat most digital drawing like regular drawing in general and only use a separate layer like I would a light box in real life...i.e. if I'm using multiple layers, it's cause i'm tracing off an sketch to refine it. I think what every tablet actually needs is proper and robust export options. Since they're all using vector for drawing, choosing resolution/dpi, SVG, PDF, AI, EPS, etc. and then choosing the level of detail for the brush vectorization (i.e. if you look at the pencil exported into svg or pdf on ReMarkable, it turns into ugly blobs rather than being...how should I say, 'high def' like it is on the machine), all these things would really kick up the artist viability of these machines. That said, I do have my own process and tend to shy away from 'fix it in post' tools. I'd rather do it the right way as I build the image. If I make a mistake, that's a Bob Ross moment.
